Saturday In Hosue Gists - Celebrating When Some Friendships End

There are friendships you lose and feel sad about… and there are friendships you lose and quietly thank God. Not because you are heartless, but because you finally realise how much unnecessary weight you were carrying in the name of friendship...

Some people stay in your life without adding a single drop of value. They drain your energy, disturb your peace, and take advantage of your kindness. Yet you keep holding on because you don’t want to look like the bad person who walked away.
But the truth is simple: Some endings are blessings in disguise.

When certain friendships end, you suddenly breathe better.
When it ends, your mind becomes lighter ,your spirit becomes calmer and you start seeing how much you were forcing what should have flowed naturally. You realise you were the only one showing up, the only one caring, and the only one investing.

When life finally remove these people, you feel relief and not guilt.
Not every friendship is meant to grow with you. Some are meant to teach you. Some are meant to warn you. And some are simply meant to end.

So let’s talk, BVs:
Have you ever felt secretly happy when a friendship ended? Did the peace that followed make you realise you should have let go earlier?

Share your experience. Let’s Gist!!!

  2. True friendship is a rare gift. Not everyone gets it. Some people don’t have genuineness, trust, or sincerity in them. For them, loyalty is tied to what they can gain. But here’s the truth; One selfish move writes a check that loyalty can’t cash.
You can be forgiven, but you won’t always be trusted.

Some doors close quietly. And they don’t reopen.

One selfish move is all it takes to turn years of loyalty into permanent distance. People will always forgive. But forgiveness doesn’t always rebuild what broke. In all honesty, I'll advise, guard what matters, even when your ego says otherwise. Be careful what you show people. Moving on from bad friendships is finding calm in the chaos. When everything you offered wasn’t enough, I'll say, please offer your absence .

    No regrets. Just lessons.

I will take responsibility when I’m wrong. I will never apologize for responding to disrespect. If you started the fire, don’t stand in the flames pretending to be the victim. Most people who start fires in others lives will always avoid accountability and shift the blame.

I’m glad I left some people behind when I had to. At that point, peace was all that mattered to me.
