Barely 24 hours later he made another post of another tout who was demanding money from him and clinging on to his vehicle....

If you're well dressed, smell nice, and drive a good car in Lagos, agbero and touts won't let you breathe. Harassment, intimidation, and sometimes robbery if you're not careful.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a set of people so comfortable with free money. Able-bodied men, some even in their 50s with two working hands and legs, but choosing this. Worst part they feel entitled. If you don't give them, they get angry and can plan evil against you.

A few days ago someone posted about being harassed like this on X. I've read other people share similar experiences too. Even Bv Dante talked about his own experience when he was here.

DeleteYou will be surprised those who pickpocket in Europe are smarter than the one's we have in Nigeria. If you are talking on the phone carelessly the phone will be snatched by someone riding scooter or electric bike,you can even get killed for wearing expensive watches in Oxford Street.
