In the video she said;
“ You know how as a teenager, you tell everybody who cared to listen you didn't want to marry somebody who wasn't like your dad?
Oh well.
I'd like to formally issue a public retraction of that statement. Because guess how I knew my father was getting married in two weeks?
Facebook.
A Facebook post sent to me by my friend. Not a phone call. Not a family meeting. But Facebook.
And guess who the lucky bride is? A girl half his age.
This guy used to be my favorite person in the whole world. He was my standard for everything. If you asked me who my superhero was, it was him. No competition. He was the blueprint. And it hurts.
It hurts so bad. Because I know my mum is an incredible woman. She may not be perfect. Nobody is. But that woman held us together. That woman carried us on her back for several years when things were tough. But the second my dad got blessed and gained some ground, suddenly my mum wasn't enough anymore.
So, yeah. If you ever heard me say I wanted somebody like my dad, please delete it from your memory. The man who raised me was impeccably great. But this man?
I don't know him.
You might as well wish him well on the 10th of September. I'll be right here minding my business.”
Only if the father knows what harm and damage he has done to his family.
ReplyDeleteA peaceful home will now be a battle front. Everyday trouble.
Not even certain that this mans insrument rises to ocassion lile that but madam MUST carry belle just to pepper dem
DeleteA man real character is known when money enters his pocket.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations 🎉 super hero.
Family disaster,trouble,problem just started
A girl half his age? Were you expecting him to marry his age mate before? Since you are aware now, tell your mama, make una use those two weeks to gather 'stuff'. Properties et al (that's if your dad got plenty money).
ReplyDeleteNa the privilege wey God Almighty give men be that. As your father is 70, your mum should be around 60. While papa can get one fresh chick, mama won't even think about it. That's life. So make una grab every every now that there is still time.
I totally agree with you on this.
DeleteChai I pity his old age.
ReplyDeleteHer mum could be an incredible mother but a terrible wife, until she understands that, she can't get the picture...
ReplyDeleteBut the Papa no try shaa
This papa bad gan. And he's going behind his family to do it. What a horrible person.
ReplyDeleteDo men even think of the damage they cause their kids when they do this or do they put their penis over every other thing?
ReplyDeleteSo sad. 😌😌😌
ReplyDeleteTalks you should be asking your father or indeed your mother, you are on SM talking to strangers. You may not know the whole drama. Your mama tell you say she no know? Or she no know wetin she do? Leave your parents to deal with their marital problems, yoj deal with your own as his child.
ReplyDeleteSelfish beings.
