Legendary country music icon Dolly Parton has passed away at the age of 80.
Her family shared the news on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
Her nephew, Bryan Seaver, announced her death in a video, saying Dolly had asked him years ago to handle the announcement when the time came.
No cause of death was disclosed.
She reportedly died in Nashville....
Born on January 19, 1946, in the mountains of East Tennessee, Dolly was one of twelve children. She began writing songs as a little girl and went on to create timeless hits such as “Coat of Many Colors,” “Jolene,” “I Will Always Love You,” and “9 to 5.”
Over her remarkable career, she sold more than 100 million records and won multiple Grammy Awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award. Her music and spirit continue to inspire generations around the world.

Was it the industry abi she couldnt fimd a fitting outfit.for her petite shape i am not judging am just wondering how women in the indusgry that have gotten married amd have wealth and so have choice to control their image.
