He said that ,that night, 12 armed men stormed his Maitama residence, killed two policemen, and searched the compound for him. When they couldn’t find him, they jumped into the next compound and stripped the entire building, convinced he was hiding there. He believes his sudden departure was divine protection.
He also said that friends tried to discourage him from entering politics while some advised him to seek traditional protection. He said that he refused, and chose faith over fear.
He quoted Joshua 24:15,and urged people to consciously choose whom they will serve...he reaffirmed that “as for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord.”

ReplyDeleteSo what happened to the two police men?. Their lives not important?. Sometimes we should check what we say to avoid sounding very insensitive
ReplyDeleteHe was making an emphasis on the tragedy of the event, I believe not necessarily suggesting the deceased service men’ life were not important.
