The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has commenced an investigation into a self-acclaimed prophet, Godwin Sunday Ajuluchukwucheya, popularly known as Prophet Sunday Koboko, over allegations that he defrauded members of his ministry of N70.39m. The anti-graft agency disclosed this in a statement posted on its official X handle on Thursday.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has commenced the distribution of sensitive election materials for the Ondo South Senatorial District by-election as preparations intensify for the exercise. The distribution exercise, carried out under the supervision of electoral officials, security agencies and political party representatives, involved deploying ballot papers, result sheets and other sensitive materials to designated locations ahead of Saturday’s election.

Governors of the 36 states have renewed their call for the establishment of state police, stressing that any new policing system must be firmly rooted in the Constitution, respect citizens’ rights and align with Nigeria’s federal structure.   1. The "Leave or Lead " call we've been chanting from time Immemorial. Even the Present administration and all other previous aren't left out . Remembering the then President GoodLuck Jonathan and how he was bullied and castigated while in office. Every administration should be held responsible and accountable and be ready to accept constructive criticism too while at it.
