Regarding the boiling issue of the 276 abducted girls in Chibok, and terrorism in general, I am just asking and curious to know the answer to this question: Where are the Northerners who want to be president? While the whole world is protesting and picketing, the whole of the north is relaxing and reclining. While the world is screaming against the cowardly acts, the voices of the north and northerners are disgustingly mute.
What are the north and northerners doing? I can’t see any. Except for the condemning speech given by Mohammed Buhari yesterday (which only came after the world has erupted in anger), where are the Kwankawasos, Ribadus, Atikus, Lamidos, and all
of these fellas who are jostling and dying to be president?
It’s one thing to aspire to lead; it’s another thing to aspire to lead the whole of Nigeria whether they are Moslems or Christians. If Americans, British, Mexicans, Indians, French, and celebrities all over the world are crying on our behalf, if mosques in Virginia and churches in Wisconsin are setting aside days to picket against wickedness, if presidents of Nations and First ladies of distant lands are carrying placards against brutalization of young girls and man’s inhumanity-to-man based on religion, why are Northerners quiet?

This would have been a very important avenue for aspiring politicians particularly northerners to rally round the the President considering that these incidents are happening at their domain.One would have thought that that AREWA consultative forum amongsts other groups like the emirs and chiefs would seek audience with the President and offer advise and encouragement to take off some responsibilities because they know their people better than anyone. But no! Since the President is not a northerner let him sort the issues out and let us see. So when he fails they will all have an already made slogan for the next election. 2015 is just a few months away. There can not be a better time to show case leadership other than now when the country is going through serious challenges. A very unusual silence it is. from the northern leaders. Stella, very true! Was asking my colleague same thing yesterday especially one of them that is crazy about Atiku. Arik off recent has become a social media where via Twitter explaining to Nigeria n's why his son got married in Dubai (like we care) and a lots more about his personal life and sometimes what is going on in Nigeria but when 276 girls, human beings are missing he suddenly goes anti social media! I have always said it to those around me, he (Atiku) is d no 1 sponsor of BH and he hates Christians with a passion(majority of the abducted girls are xtiwn) even when he was the serving VP, he never entered the church. The question i does he think Nigerians are stupid enough to elect him as president? Time will tell
