Obanikoro And Amaechi Fight On Twitter!

Musiliu Obanikoro and Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers yesterday exchanged words on Twitter, over the outcome of last Saturday’s governorship elections.

The Twitter fight involving the two top Nigerian government officials was sparked by a tweet from Mr. Obanikoro who congratulated Lagos state governor-elect, Akinwunmi Ambode, over his victory in election in that state.

In the same tweet, Mr. Obanikoro called out Mr. Amaechi, advising him and his “co-travelers” to learn from his sportsmanship.

An angry Amaechi fired back in reply.

Amaechi easy!

  29. With time Amaechi will congratulate wike, mtcheeeeeeeew

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hahaha. Koro must know you cannot get away with rigging in a place where you are not popular. Almost all the PDP controlled states in the south south had violence ridden elections precisely because their candidates were unpopular. They emerged through undemocratic /sham primaries. Where a candidate is popular you can only 'enhance' his votes. The people, in that case, will rarely complain cause it is for the benefit of 'their' candidate. Most likely this is what happened in the North and other places where APC won. Of course where the candidate is not the people's preferred choice they will protest and this invariably leads to violence.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. And "enhancing" is not bad itself?? It's still a long walk to freedom except we purge ourselves of this mindset.

    1. I usually love reading comments on stellas blog, because I marvel at the level of "tatafoo" that goes on here.... I'm like where do these people get their info from (some true, some sprinkled with half-truths).
My darling for the first time I can officially say I've spotted an outright liar from the pit of hell!!!!!!!!! Did they try to "donate" you to him and he refused???? Because sweety you sound so pained! You sound like you've experienced some personal emotional hurt where he's concerned. FYI- there's no money to steal in committee of petroleum downstream. I know that for a fact!!!! There's glorious and wonderful bribe from NNPC and the rest of them, which Dakuku turned down a lot. The rest of the craps you spewed; sweety they shouldn't even be put in a sentence with Dakuku's name. (I'm glad Wike won in rivers state, but if the people of rivers woulda given Dakuku a chance and gotten to know him, they woulda loved him.) Stop telling greatly false stories about a man you know nothing of.
