  2. It's the same thing
Osinbajo, is not the elected president so whatever he's doing is coordinating.

    1. No. In the absense of pmb osinbanjo has sane powers as acting president which the 2nd letter is trying to deny him

    1. Exactly. Just semantics. Nigerians are just melodramatic.

Whichever way they choose to interpret the action words, it's backed by the constitution. So no wahala.

  7. I don't know the difference, but one thing I'm sure of is that Buhari is not happy the way Osinbajo was praised the other time he traveled.

  8. It's different. He's coordinating isn't the same as performing.

    Performing is to execute.
Coordinating is to bring together, so work with others without an executive fiat.

    3. Anonymous, you are correct. Osinbajo is still the VP and will continue to act in that capacity. He won't be acting as the president. There's a difference.

  9. It really doesn't matter what words were used to empower him as long as he gets the job done.

    1. No darling. It matters. He's actually not empowering him like you said. The vice president can only perform the duties of a president in the capacity of the "acting president" NOT Coordinate. Simply put, osibanjo will oversee the affairs of the country as VP aka caretaker. His powers are still limited.

  10. Perform and coordinate then office and govt...
To me Osinbajo is the Acting President whether they like it or not, abi is it Saraki/Aisha/Lawal Daura or Mamman Daura that should be the Acting President?

That Senator should go and rest joor and use his time/money to build bore-holes, health centres to his community.

  12. I think it is the same meaning

    I could be wrong

Some tribes in Nigeria like using the word coordinator or coordinating to describe a leader's position

So; Stella, na how much you go pay me na?

    1. It is you that is the illiterate. Be finding hole where there is none. Are you not are aware that he invoked the aspect of the constition ceding power temporary to the vice president. Any way it's not your fault when you have been bastardized by president take all viz a viz draconian rule simple English you can not understand.

  14. Ifeyinwa, coordinator is different from acting president. The word coordinating president is unknown to the Nigerian constitution. There's no ambiguity in what is written in the constitution.
For example, a coordinating vice president is different from an acting president.......
Buhari or whoever wrote that letter on his behalf must have done so to protect the cabal while the president is away. But God pass them that the Senate were able to see the ambiguity in the letter.......smh

Abeg leave Baba jorr. Have you heard Osinbajo complain? Why cry more than the bereaved??
