Mark Dayton, Governor of Minnesota, USA has declared October 6 as WIZKID Da
This honours comes in respect to his several achievements in music and as a culture influencer all over the world.
Some of the feats include making a Billboard number one hit ‘One Dance’ with Drake, selling out the O2 Arena London, walking the runway with Dolce and Gabbana. Others include winning international awards and recently becoming the first African artist to sell out the Skyway Theatre Minneapolis.
The starboy had also shut down Minnesota in a sold out performance over the weekend.
An official proclamation was made in that regards bearing the seal of the US state of Minnesota and signed by the Governor.
Despite all the negative things said about him, he is still rising strong. This is nothing but pure grace: he doesn't deserve it, but he still gets it. I can relate.🙏

When God decides to lift one up, nothing or no one can stop it. Is wizkid perfect? No, but so is all of us...no one is perfect. Someone even said she would ruin him and his career as if she's God, since she made that declaration, wizkid has been up there breaking boundaries and achieving feats. It's not by his power but by the grace of God. A lot of men are irresponsible, but pple are quick to judge because he's a star, thank God wizkid did not allow that sway him. Keep going higher wiz... the glory of the Lord is upon you. You've worked so hard and you definitely earned this victory.
