My wife just requested for divorce.
I am so empty. I wasn't a good husband to her. I was never there for her though I made sure she never lacked. I was lost in my philandering. She cried and begged! I ignored her even though she is a good woman cos I was carried away with my series of women. I love my wife no doubt but I wasn't available emotionally. The mutual female friend I begged to talk to her told me to my face that she can't wait for her to leave me so that her brother can marry her. She even called the brother in my presence to tell him and he was happy.
Apparently, they have been praying for it.
My very good friend I confided in told me to do everything within my power to change her mind as according to him my wife is a rare gem. He told me how men are on her case and how she never gave in to them. I just got her an SUV she has always wanted but she hasn't even touched the keys since I bought it.
She still uses her old car. I am not trying to buy her over please.I have tried talking to her but She is just silent. She only says "i want a divorce". She is so calm that am even afraid of her now. I don't think she still loves me.

DeleteMy regime is quite simple. I don't like drama.
I wear my hair in 2 strand twists (I don't like wigs or anything extra on my head because it makes me uncomfortable).
I moisturise daily using water, leave in conditioner and seal with shea butter.
I do scalp massages 3 times weekly.
I do a protein treatment, deep condition and an apple cider vinegar rinse during wash days.. then I put my hair back in twists.
Our hair grows, but most times we don't retain length due to bad hair practices. I was guilty of this until I incorporated a regime which I intend sticking to.
*Tips*
1) Trim hair every 3-6 months to get rid of split ends. (I'm a newbie in this).
2) Ditch combs and practice finger detangling your hair (I'm a newbie in this method). This could be quite frustrating, but if you master it, your hair would thank you. You would avoid breakage and shed less thereby retaining length and volume. I used to lose a handful of hair when using wide tooth comb to detangle. Little did I know I was losing all the hair I grew. Since I started this method, the breakages reduced drastically. I'm seeing good results. I apply manshanu on my hair and finger detangle. Manshanu makes the hair soft.
3) Wash your hair in chunky twists. This would depend on the volume and length of your hair. I put mine in 10 twists (I'm a newbie in this method). I intend reducing it to 5 as I go along. My hair is a bush. Washing hair in twists reduces the knots and tangles that your hair experience during wash and also makes for easy detangling after wash. Knots and tangles causes breakage, so the goal is to reduce, if not eliminate them.
4) If you braid your hair with extensions, please tell your stylist not to trim your hair by burning with candle light or trim with scissors. They tell you they do it to make the hair neat, but those are bad hair practices that damage the hair.
Check that your stylist isn't damaging your hair and wasting your effort. Some of them don't know to handle natural hair. They apply force when handling it. Natural hair doesn't like force, it needs care. Don't allow them use that rat tail comb on your hair when parting it. It pulls the hair and causes it to break.
Don't allow them hot comb your hair. You'd get heat damage and lose your hair.
5) Avoid hair styles that pull at your edges. Even if you wear a wig, don't forget to moisturise your hair daily. If you wear a weave, avoid glues and all those extra hair styles that damage your hair.
6) If you experience thinning edges, have no hair volume and want a fuller hair, do scalp massage every other day. Scalp massage increases blood circulation thereby promoting hair growth. I use our dear old virgin hair fertilizer for this. I've been doing this consistently for 6 months and my hair went from full to fullest.
7) Remember to deep condition and give your hair a protein treatment when you take down your protective style.
8) When taking down your braids, check that you aren't cutting your hair along with the extension. If you don't know where your hair stops, start loosening from the tip.
Loosen your weaves with caution as well.
Remember that products don't grow your hair, but helps to manage/maintain the hair properly. If you don't handle your hair properly, no product on earth can save you from getting your hair damaged.
Please go over this tips and check that you're doing it right. I hope this answers all your questions.

I am a naturalista as well & my best regimen is Water, Shea butter (ori) and coconut oil. I don't do anything special. i make my hair myself (twist, braids, weaves, crotchet, etc) cos i hat when my roots are pulled too tight. Also, i feel the best thing to do is to find out what works for YOU. 2 persons at work went natural cos of me. My hair ain't long but it's healthy and beautiful.

Fragrance world are the reason I ported to the real perfume deal. I used to wear nice knockoff perfumes, until I bought fake "True love" (knockoff Version of Britney Spear's Fantasy). I had used up to 3 bottles so I know what it smelled like. That was how my #2500 went to waste. I couldn't use the perfume and ended up smashing it on the floor. It was horrible.
