Why did this make my eyes tear up when I don't even know them personally. The loss of a loved one is the most terrible pain one can ever go through. I pray Funke finds comfort in the memories they shared x
ReplyDeleteI tell you. This morning, on my way to work I remembered her and I teared up. I don’t even know her personally, never even see her, only remember her soft voice whenever she says on air “we thank the Lord”, but I don’t know why it hit me hard and I cried for her. Especially considering the pain she must have gone through and alone in it all. It is well. May she Rest In Peace.

ReplyDeleteWas at Funke's yesterday. She is damn strong!! Was even serving small chops and asking people if they are okay. Other Naija celebs lined up there too. I thought I was the only one who automatically builds strength when i feel pain. I don see person wey pass me. Gosh... she was so strong.

DeleteThis is so sad. I lost my sister over 10 years ago, and some days it feels fresh, like it happened just yesterday. The loss of a loved one, particularly one you are close too is very painful. May Tosin RIP.
