Buhari Sends HOS Oyo Ita On Idefinite Leave To Enable EFCC Investigate N3Billion Contract Scam Allegations Against Her
Mrs Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita has finally bowed out of the civil service of the Federation. President Muhammadu Buhari has announced Mrs Folasade Yemi-Esan as her acting successor.
The announcement was made Wednesday on Twitter @ngrpresident. Oyo-Ita has been directed to proceed on an indefinite leave to allow conclusion of the investigation being carried out by EFCC.
Oyo-Ita is being investigated by the EFCC on a contract scam summing up to 3 billion and duty tour allowance falsification.
Her offer to retire gracefully amidst the allegations heaped against her was turned down by the president.
Yemi-Esan, until her appointment was the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
