my sister inlaw came to my shop to pick something for her husband(my brother)
A week later I ask her for my money..she said your brother never give me o.
He said he will chat you up.
It was not my brother that came to my shop. I was angry and suprised.
Please bvs how do I handle the issue?

    2. dont drag the money to avoid quarell, just keep waiting until they give u but in the mean time,if she tries it again, give her a sound warning and refuse.....Why are you even selling on credit?letting family do this is the quickest way to kill your business,,dont try it again.....

      Delete
    3. I know it is hard but don't drag the money. If they pay or not next time don't give them on credit.
Credit kills business fast. mind the way you sell on credit, if possible don't sell on credit.

  5. Hello, BVs.

I studied medicine for 6 years and I'm looking to do a masters in Canada, anything health-related.

Can you suggest what options there are, and what universities offer them?

Also, any places to read or practice the IELTS exam?

    Thank you.

I read the above comment this morning when I opened the Friday night post and decided to drop few words to the poster and hope he sees it. First, I must applaud your feelings of guilt over your act, it shows you truly know the evil you are doing and want a stop. Having say this, I won't judge or condemn you but advice you in love.

Nothing good has ever come out of sleeping with a married woman. Most men do it for material gains and some do it for pleasure. One thing very sure is that, it doesn't end well no matter how rosy it looks at the beginning.

Secondly, it robs you of a good destiny. A clear warning from the Bible on the marriage institution is that, what God had join together, let no man put asunder. If Joseph didn't flee from Portiphar's wife, he wouldn't have been great in life. Would you love to trade your destiny on the alter of sexual gratification? No matter how successful those who engage on this act thinks they are, truth is that, they will be stagnated. For such acts breed curse upon those that indulge in it. In fullness of time they will understand what they did to themselves.

Finally, would you want the wife you will marry to treat you so with a younger man? Or will you be happy to see a little boy having affairs with your mom. PLEASE STOP NOW!!! Ask God for forgiveness and to be delivered from that demons influencing your thoughts and acts. Don't go back to that bed again. Develop strong hatred towards that and see God blesses you. It won't be easy but YES you can do it. Engage yourself productively including your mind.

    Shalom!!!

They didn't get customers for the night and their 'madam'locked them up and left for her house. Fire started in the early hours of yesterday morning and rescuers couldn't get in and the girls couldn't get out because they were locked from outside. The cause of the fire haven't been ascertained yet. I pray they charge this "madam" for murder!!!! 😑😑😑😑

My husband has been taking care of me and our 3kids for the past 6years without a single complaint,we are his everything. However,he is very lavish with money,he spends carelessly and always in debt.I complained and it usually caused issues between us,so I stopped and let him.I got a job recently and I need advise on how to contribute meaningfully towards the family and also have some savings without him feeling I'm being partial. He is controlling as I remember how he used to make me spend my salary in two weeks when I was working before now(early in our marriage) .If I dont spend the money as he wanted, the house will be so uncomfortable for me till I give in.I had no single savings.I dont want that to repeat itself and I also dont want to hurt his feelings. He has been amazing these past 6years.What do I provide in the house, which areas should I channel my resources to?

  33. I need some information please. I want to visit MFM prayer city that I’ve heard so much about from this blog. I plan to go alone for 2-3 days. My concerns are safety, security n accommodation. I know they provide accommodations but are they nice? I need my luxury: AC, hot water, comfy bed, clean sheets, a toilet that flushes and a general feel of good hygiene. I don’t want to share either. The prices I saw were about 7k but considering it’s only for 3 days I would rather go up in price. Personally, I don’t think there’s a price tag for safety. Any advice????

Please give me your thoughts on this issue.
I stopped talking to my sister because she talked down to me in public. She’s older by 8 years. I spoke to her privately that I didn’t like how she talked to me instead of apologizing she insulted me even more. I gave her a piece of my mind, times two. We said a lot of nasty things to each other. We have not spoken since then. It has been 2 weeks. Truth is I have no regrets. I’m actually happy n relieved. Before, I walked on eggshells around her. Everything I did needed correction. Always calling me on errands. Do this do that, now I’ve put an end to all that. And, boy am I HAPPY. Problem is, I feel guilty.

It’s a close nit family with other siblings, now, when we have family gatherings we don’t say a word to each other. If my mom was alive she wouldn’t be happy. Family is family, right? But, what if family is toxic nau? Mind you we’re not kids oooo. Over 40. She does come thru in a big sister way when her support is needed (not financial). But for how long will I allow her to treat me so disrespectfully in the name of family sticking together.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Is good u put her in her place. At least even if u guys reconcile, she will learn to talk to u with respect. For now let her be.

    2. Please apologise to her, did you say older than you by 8 years? I am not in support of how she talks to you and it's ok you aired your reservations about it but please reach out to her and make peace.
Family should always stick together and you said you mum wouldn't be happy...if there is anyone you should learn to forgive easily it's family though it is not always easy.
The way you reacted would put a check on her attitude towards you henceforth. Please make peace with her, it doesnt make you weak or less of yourself but actually the bigger person.

      Delete
    3. Till you receive a call that shes dead and you'll forever regret the hurtful things you said despite who was wrong.. Reach out to her, keep it cordial and love her from afar.. one adv of being the bigger person in most relation/friendships is that you get to decide the terms or dynamics of the relation/(friend)ship going forth.

      Delete
    4. Apologise to her for what? So that it will give her the impetus to continue to disrespect her? Even if She s older than her by 20 years, it stop doesn't give her the right to talk to her rudely in public. Anyway I guess the way igbos view respect is different from the way otherwise other tribes view it. Respect is earned not given as a mater of course irrespective of your nasty behaviour! Poster pls give your siste gap dir now. Gteet her when you see her and dont dusrrspect her but maintain your space until she learns thst you are an adult and treat you as one.

      Delete
    5. When ya'll have cooled down apologise so that you can be at peace, then maintain a certain distance so she doesn't have easy access to abuse you.

      Delete
    6. Make sure you put boundaries in place after you both reconcile.

      Delete
    7. Hello
DO NOT APOLOGISE to her. Ehen? Big sister by 8 years doesn't know her kid sister is grown? I have a sister who is younger than me by less than 2 years and I dare not try that. Leave her, she will cool down and treat you with reciprocal respect soon. Sometimes you need to take drastic decisions for a message to be understood. The way you were talking about it, it didnt sink in. Now that you have given her space, it will sink in.

  39. Something quite shocking happened to me yesterday. I feel disgusted even typing. The traffic yesterday evening was so so terrible. I was walking briskly but had to slow down because there were lots of people walking too and traders normally bring their wares close to the road in the evenings thereby making movement much slower because of the cars. People walking were really much and cars were not moving because of ‘go slow’. All of a sudden I felt a hand Brush my thigh( yes I felt it even tho I was wearing dress. At first I told myself the possibility of bodies touching is high as people are walking in close proximity and ‘go slow” is not helping but when he did it again, I felt a chill to my spine. I turned around and I thank God, because even tho there was so many people, something pointed out that there he is. He is the one! I am not violent by nature but I just kept slapping him (I cannot count how many times, on his face) He kept saying sorry sorry sorry! It was a mistake. Na only touch. Which made me even more angry! Even to this morning my skin crawls!

    2. First and foremost, the money you’re wasting on embassy, use that money to move the hell out of your parents house! If they continue to bother you, tell them straight up not to pressure you!! What’s wrong with some of these parents self! If they continue to pressure you, do not pick up their calls for some time so that way they know you’re serious! Move out and get one roommate if you don’t want to live alone but you shd move out of that stressful environment. Step out of your comfort zone first and start socializing around people. Join social clubs or groups or even church activities. Then gradually open up enough to make friends first! With time, you’ll develop enough confidence and men will see the confident and fun person you are. And before you know it, you’re in a relationship (date first pls). But you’ve got to step out of your comfort zone and work on your self esteem because it’s low! Goodluck.

  43. Distraught this morning over here is an understatement.

Spent some hours in a spot yesterday on my way to work, had to make a detour through oregun and met a worse off 5hour gridlock. Finally got home and 6hours from midnight the rain was pouring still, what did I see in the middle of my room by noon, a flash of a lightning, I dodged it sha and it hit a smart TV and sparks were heard. That's how the filaments got destroyed, lightning kwa? In this home? And the TV won't come on?

Anyway the surveyors are here and are getting it hot with DH. You don't charge so much on a property review and come 6 years after saying it's not fully earthed, there's partial erosion,it's not running on TT System, bla bla on top how much? The 2 Insurance guys are smiling sheepishly, I wonder why?

    What wobbish!

Happy weekend to y'all o jare.
