  2. I agree with him. It's very annoying for someone to be telling me how to spend my money when i didn't ask you to be my financial advisor. Especially when that person is not someone i can look up to financially. Nonsense

  4. Well, thanks Rudy for reminding me of my role as a keypad adviser.
I have noticed of late that DJ Cuppy hasnt been conspicuous in the arena of philanthropy.
You know after her successful launch, she became the face of Charity, sort of. One would have thought that in these challenging times, she would rise to the occasion in lifting the beleaguered hands of the less-privileged. Alas, what do I even when know I'm just a mere keypad adviser.
Back to Rudy, a wise man once said that "every right implies a responsibility, every opportunity an obligation, every possession, a duty" - John D. Rockefeller.
You see, Dangote and their likes were made in Nigeria, thanks to the fantastic opportunities afforded them by this beautiful green land. So when we "advocate" not "advise", we are simply reminding them of their responsibility, obligation and duty to Nigerians and our fatherland. Because we too will get to where they are someday by the grace of God, and then it will our own turn to impact our communities.

    1. This dangote issue made people i know had serious issue. One said dangote was made in Nigeria and should be helping people, the other one said it's an entitlement mentality. Now no more st. Louis sugar and other things. I stop by the one that said dangote should help more

    2. Epic, I guess you are used to photo-philanthropist. You love seeing pictures of how people queue and receive two cups of rice and garri or a plate of jollof rice and chicken. My bro, many people help without trumpeting

    3. I got it misunderstood. Rudy's fury was directed at those pressurizing celebs and the RAFs (Rich and Famous) to do giveways. I shared my thoughts on that.
My other comment on DJ Cuppy is just a side comment. I too am averse to showboating.

  10. Yes, I saw Adebayo (d footballer),telling advisers not to advise him on how & who to give his money to, that he’s just chilling & doing what feels good to him. Meanwhile, d celebs that are giving & sharing what they have to those who need it, some of u are busy fighting why they should make videos of their gifts. I no even blame d ones that kept their money to themselves. No be by force to give & it doesn’t stop d receivers from trolling d givers. U might even end up giving to ur number one hater that has contributed in giving u a bad name.

  11. Stella, where’s my comment condemning the people who attacked those that captured their donations on camera?

  12. Is giving this photoshoots displayed on IG? What exactly is giving and how should it be done? It is wisdom to give and never allow your left hand know what the right did. I take 'philantropists' with a PACKET of salt. Giving to the poor and show that you are 'giving them' food is not giving. What if the table were to be turned, would you like what you packaged and if yes, would you lije to be seen as receiving? Think deeply and give PRIVATELY with no noise.
