Chronicles Of Blog Visitor NARRATIVE....

Hmmmmmm...

STAND ALONE NARRATIVE

COMPLETELY BROKEN

I use to think I'm strong hearted until Wednesday morning, I was sitting with my fiance in her dad's sitting room and she has this sch friend (female) that they are very close and they gist and play a lot.

So my babe was on whatsapp video call with the friend and she was intentionally showing me to the friend on. I was sitting beside her surfing the internet but the call was on speaker then i heard clearly the said friend on phone and in quote "Why are you showing me this guy on video, I don't like him he's not fine but wait is that your brother, if he's your brother I like him" .

I felt so bad but did as if I don't know what they're talking about but in all honesty I felt it and almost questioned God for the way I was created but later give thanks. Mind you I'm not ugly, dated some girls in the past, Infact if I happen to meet the said friend outside, I can bet that i will date her but actually I always wish I'm more finer for a man.

Now, me and my babe are planning wedding, we are like family friends and neighbours but the the only thing bothering me is, My babe's mood changed immediately her friend said that and she hurriedly ended the call.

She went on deep thinking for minutes and I understood she felt it too. I know people always want the best and she will wants her friend to be like your man is handsome and all. Now I'm scared for the future, I hope stuffs like this won't be bringing issues later? hope she will be proud of me? Hope she wont be keeping me away from her friends cos of the unknown feedback.. note" Guess she has never discussed me with her friend before from what I understand in their convo. Im literally crying inside that I'm not some Ramsey Noah or Desmond Elliot In looks

Should I swerve before it too late? Please help me post for God sake..

Hmmmm i called him after he sent me this Chronicle and he cried on the phone..I was so shocked that i was confused but i told him nice things and asked for his photos promising to tell him the truth..
He sent me his photos and lo and behold,he looks like a finer version of Nollywood actor Joseph Benjamin (use google to see what Joseph Benjamin looks like)

I told him to ask her about the conversation so that he can find closure.....you cant be getting married to a woman who allows her friends bring you down, hell no!!!

We have 7 houses in Nigeria I’m living big, my fashion is top notch they are now tapping and wishing but I have cut all of them off my life! My husband is my best gift from God! He worships the ground I walk on and we have 4 lovely kids 7 years in sweet marriage and counting...

    8. It seems all of you are babies....dat is why dey say be mature before contemplating marriage. Who really cares abt how a man looks. Thank God i married a man dat looks good but i was in no way looking for a Usher look'alike, dat isnt what even endears me to a man. I am more concerned if u have a good heart. Not only how u treat me but how u also treat ppl around u; if ur hardworking, will take care of me,have goals in life etc.
Poster im sure ur not ugly, dont dare ever let anyone look down on u...You are a man and its obvious u have a good heart.

    12. I am more worried about your Fiance's reaction to such a comment than her friends poisinous tongue.

In this day and age,na ugly guys dey marry the hottest and finest girls sef,as long as your pocket is handsome.Na money be fine bobo.person no dey chop handsomeness.Wise women know the koko.

It sounds like she is a kind of girl that doesn't have a mind of her own.She thrives from people's praises, especially her friends. You better wise up.

This just reminds me of an incident that got me shocked that some girls really choose guys to date/marry based on if they can show off the man to their friends.

How old is this your fiance??Is she even ready for marriage?? This type will nag you to death and make life unbearable for you,if another friend's husband is doing better,or getting more praise and hype from mutual friends.

Or it maybe, that her friend is even jealous, yes i said it.Either you treat your fiance better than her own man,or she might be wishing it was her getting that type of love, attacking your looks, makes you look less than in her eyes, and make your fiance question her choice.Girls get problem no be small.

I have a friend that her husband is not good-looking in anyway, but the way she is so proud of the man and shows him off ehn.You will question your eyes.Because the love go dey sweet you self.Takes care of her and their beautiful kids, spoils her silly, birthdays and anniversaries on her whatsapp status is always lit.She made me realize that looks are not everything in a man.Visiting their home,I feel like getting married the next day. Will fear or respect allow you even talk shit about her husband's looks??

Your girl shouldn't even give room for such disrespect mehn!!I think you should let your fiance know how hurt you were. Her next reaction and words should let you know if you have found a wife or not.

Things you might take as a joke might just push the recipient of that sick joke of yours off the cliff. We have so many careless talkers and loose tongues in our society.

    1. The friend is not well. How dare u tell someone that her fiance is not fine???? Even if u are thinking it, u don't ever say such out to the person. But I don't blame her, its the yeye fiancรฉe that allowed such in the first place.

      What rubbish????

      Delete
    2. Ummm, I think its her opinion and shes entitled to it.... thing is, the poster's girl should have cautioned the girl right away instead of ending the call like that. Now if the fiancee eventually addresses the matter with her friend, I bet you it won't be the same. If she had cautioned her friend right away, the guy wouldn't be feeling what he's feeling right now.

Also the friend is not totally to be blamed, (show me your friend and I will tell you....)the careless talks shows how the two girls talk about other people, hence the othersity to utter such knowing she was on speaker phone.

"If he is your fiance, I don't like him...(because jealousy is holding me captive)"
    Plain English.
    Truth like the noonday sun.

    6. You're feeling like this because of what one person said? You didn't see where she said she likes you if you're you fiance's brother? What does that tell you? Your friend should first of all cut off that friend cos she's not a good person.

      Delete
    7. Imagine, the deep meaning is in.what she said. She is jealous of your fiancee who is her friend. Its as simple as that. She is trying to bring her friend your fiancee down whether she realizes it it not is another matter. But like anonymous said, if its your brother I.will date him but if its your guy he is not fine. She is plain jealous of your fiancee. You too don't talk words too much to heart. Most girls like their friends to validate their guys. Which is wrong anyway, because "na you wear shoe, na you know the shoe".
Your girl too should not mind her friend mbok.

    8. Based on Stella's visual assessment of the man, over you sabi the matter.

Your fiance's friend might be blind, but, your fiance is not blind and if she decided to be influenced by her friends shenanigans, the jokes will be on her. That means, she doesn't deserve you.

Your fiance should have immediately shut down her friend but, she decided to indulge her.
My advice to you, is to overlook whatever her friend said and continue with your plans. But, if you noticed that she's being withdrawn from your plans, then, you can call her and question her. If she doesn't want the marriage to go on because of your looks, then, she doesn't deserve a man like you; you'll just let her be.

Women, especially Nigerian women should learn to have a mind of their own.

The girl is plain jealous that her friend is getting hitched before her and she couldn’t hide it. Your girlfriend needs to do away with such a person cuz the moment you both go ypur separate ways, thรฉ so called friend will come for you. Your girl needs to grow up seriously. Letting peoples’ opinion get to her when they have nothing tangible to contribute but hate. You both should speak to each other in a better light and move on from here, you will encounter a lot worse than this but how you go about handling it will determine your growth and bond.

  21. She seem jealous of your fiancee. If not, she would not have said later on, 'if that is your brother, I like him'. She wanted her friend to feel insecure because she thought she showed you to her, to spite her. Maybe she reacted instantly by flipping the table back on your woman. However, on a second thought thinking she had a chance( that is if she is single) she contradicted herself by inquiring if you were her brother.

Poster, please girls can be petty and jealous. Your fiancรฉe's bestie might just be getting back at her for something or NOTHING. She might indirectly want you for herself or mad her friend is getting married (before her if she's not).

Have a talk with your fiancรฉe. Her self-esteem must be very low for her friend' s opinion/comment on her choice to throw her off balance/deep thought.
If she ain't proud of you, take a walk and go for a lady that's head over heels in love with you.

  33. Guy no be NED NWOKO marry Regina?

    Stop this noooow!

Confidence is SEXY . Even if you looked like a chimpanzee confidence can change your perception of yourself.

You need to wake up and say to yourself every damn morning

I AM BEAUTIFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE

IM A JEWEL IM UNSTOPPABLE ..load your mind consciously with positive words of affirmation and watch yourself THRIVE

The defeatist mind set over what a human has said about you...a fallible human who poos and farts like you has to be ditched real quick

Change your mindset and THRIVE BOO

  34. Poster this isn't an issue for a guy. Most ladies date and Marry the package, not the appearance. Have u wondered why girls Date sugar daddies, men twice their father's age, with stomach bigger than a 9 months pregnant lady, etc. And they marry those Nna bros budinessmen that can't speak English apart from Their container on high sea, with zero ethics & table manners, and lousy behaviours? Their money.
Haven't you seen girls flocking Shatta (the ghanian dwarf)?
If you are rich, you will marry the most beautiful girl in the world and she will remain faithful, as long as the money is flowing. And offcourse flaunt you.

Aside this, there are the other set of girls who look out for love and good character in a man. The one who treats them right and make them feel like queen. They don't notice their handsomeness or ugliness, but how they are treated. That's handsomeness for them.
    So, know your woman's category.

Then, you must have that talk with her. Tell her you heard what her friend said and want her to be honest with you what she feels and is thinking.

If she thinks it's a problem, don't be mad at her. But be bold enough to let her go. Cause she won't be proud about you or flaunt you.

  36. Wait o am I the only one who saw the part where the silly lady said "but if hes your brother,I like him"? meaning Mr poster, if you are to ask the yeye lady out she go gree, she actually sees something in you.

Relax, women say stupid things they don't mean sometimes, please don't take it serious, rest your mind, and if you notice some shady behaviours from your fiancรฉe, speak to her and then decide your next move.

    All the best.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I've actually noticed that people who think they aren't fine are actually quite handsome or beautiful...

Poster, please work on your esteem, the friend seems like a nasty person jor. I'm sure your girl is proud about you that's why she was lowkey showing you off to her friend on the video call.I'm quite sure they've gisted about you. I think she will comeback to her senses soon. And for you, this is not the time to get emotional about it. Do small shakers for her, always look and smell good when going to see her. Hype yourself small.. women are stimulated by words... so use them well (I didn't say you should goan be bragging oo) younknow her so you will definitely know what she likes to hear..

If you notice that she changes her attitude towards you, then I guess shes not loyal or wife material... all the best dude..

A male colleague told me that I was too fat to be married and too dark.i was a size 10 then.
Said my boyfriend would soon dump me for a light skin girl cos he is a young man.
My boyfriend is now my husband, I told him then and he warned me to stay away from that colleague.
    Talk to her about it,pele.

  40. dear poster, you shouldnt allow such comment get to you but most importantly you need to get out of that relationship with that lady who cant speak up on your behalf. just have it in mind that the friend fancies you but is jealous of her friend's relationship

  41. Poster, if it's any consolation, me and my friends talked same way in our twenties. We were young and foolish,so we expected all our boyfriends to be boyishly handsome. We discouraged each other but still dated them, out girlfriends had no choice than accept them later on. Just chillax and go make some dough,ok. In ten year time, u wil wonder how silly u were. Cheers

  42. Oga face front what's with the tears, I get it that some words can be hurtful sorry ehnn!.

Even Mr. Eazi that's not one of the cutest artist is dating Otedola's daughter and their love is going stronger by the day.

See ehnn, If your girl cannot love and appreciate you for you unless she gets approval from her friend (that is obviously jealous) then I don't think she is ready for the real deal ( if you are planning to marry her).

Everything God created are beautifully and wonderfully made.

  43. Lol.. I can't help but laugh at this..that was a mind trick aimed at your girl, probably to stop her from throwing her soon to be new status at her face or something...
And you obloblo fell for it.

Did you not ask yourself why she said she'd date you if you were her brother?

This means she would have no issues dating you if you were not entangled with her..

From Stella's description...you are not ugly. This means inferiority complex is your problem.

Poster, I am a lady, and as a lady, I can categorically tell you that an ugly person self confidence will most likely get the woman he wants...

Look, I am a lady, with speech impediment, what most people would tag disability...but the confidence with which I carry my self has never given any one the allowance to put me down in my presence...I dont know about my absence, but no one has ever summoned courage to tell me, "this is what they said about you".

I stand out positively wherever I go.

I've selected and re-selected guys I want to date. (Contrary to the popular opinion that people with disabilities have no choice with regards to partners)...
    I am a magnet.

My point? BUILD YOUR CONFIDENCE, and talks like this would not matter to you.

Parents, raise your children to have self-confidence.

It does not matter if you are a single mom, divorced, poor, rich, educated or not. I don't mean arrogant rude children or bullies.

Show them love plus tough love, how to empathize with other, give them reassurance, emphasize their strengths, allay their fears, hug them often. Every child want to be loved.

EVERY CHILD IS A STAR, LET THEM SHINE!๐ŸŒŸ

  45. And you are supposed to be a man? I'm really disappointed in this chronicle of yours. You are hurt, literally crying over what one human said about you? We all were not created to be all beautiful and handsome. Inside beauty is what reflects on the outside. You have to love and accept yourself wholeheartedly. I hope you won't start doing things you aren't supposed to do just to make people accept you. No, you cannot do that. Cos by the time to start paying attention to what people say about you, you will never be focused in life. All you will ever care about is your appearance. The only thing that should matter to you now is starting a family and making necessary provisions for them. Leave people to talk na. Let them say whatever they like, don't be bothered. You see this inferiority complex hovering around you, dodge it. Abeg I dey vex for you o say you cry cos of watin one imbecile talk. Drop this attitude cos marriage is not child's play. Man up and take charge of your life.

  46. Too bad Mr chronicle poster. Too bad you feel this way about yourself. I mean I have seen a lot of guys and babes who are not good looking, like I can call them ugly but their confidence is on the high. I admire them a lot! Guy why bring yourself so low for what? Even if she is a beauty queen. Na wa oh.
Better pick up your self esteem from where you dropped it. It is well with you.
You might need to have a heart to heart talk with that girl friend of yours so you know where eachother stand in this thing you call a relationship that is leading to where again ????

  50. My late brother had a lady friend who was a year ahead of me in the university. One day I caught her and her friends discussing him (he was serving then). They were like this guy likes you ooo and she replied "ko jo, he's ugly". I never told my brother but it still hurts me till date what she said about him.
Oga, call her discuss it with her. Meanwhile, that friend is rubbish that belongs in the bin. Black people are easily termed ugly, very annoying. Of she's not proud of you.......you might as well take a walk cos it will affect your marriage.

Yea I'm the poster and the poster is me. I understand I was very stupid for crying yestaday but her friend's remark and her mood change hit somewhere in me which I can't really explain. I have a childhood friend that use to taunt me with "you no even fine" that was around 16, I use to cry because I was the least fine among 4 of us then. It went on till I started avoiding this particular friend till date. What I heard yestaday was like an open wound was touched. Infact while growing up, let say around 22, 23. I'd randomly ask a lady out online, go on blind date, dress well, smell nice just to see their reaction towards my look, believe you me, I ended up dating 7/10 girls. So I understand my self esteem is at zero level (Lol) and i must work on that. I use to be camera shy cos I always believe it won't come out nice but the few I snapped are nice and I see people that re not as okay as me always posting on Facebook and all (Since my religion no kuku permit pictures, why snapping? ) I've friends that are very handsome but can't do anything without contacting me for my opinion, validation and all (Not bragging but they loved to be around me).. This post is all bout My Lord and Stella, God Forgive Me When I Whine, I'm sorry for almost questioning you over nonsense. To my dearest Africa number one blogger, I love you, I pray for you May the Good Lord continue to protect, support and provide for you, Truly there's power in the tongue, your words are important but not as important as taking out your precious time reaching out to a small and unknown me within 5 minutes of sending you that all the way from obodo oyinbo, Was really wowed cos I never expected it, was star strucked at some point during our conversation and your voice dey sweetened my hearing too, So tush and cool (Lol). Youre the first celebrity i go follow talk (smiles). Indeed, you're a Mother, Motivational speaker, Kind hearted, Incredible, Amazing and should be included in the list of the next national merit award, OFR to be precise. People like you are what we need in Government, you go get pity for the masses (Lol).. Danke Gracias Siyabonga. My relationship has been undefined since yesterday sha.. She's 25 and a Uni finalist, I'm 30 and employed for the poster thats interested in our age.

Omg Bro you need some growing up o,(please pardon my language). You seriously need that.

What is handsomemness in a man bikonu..

Expect more of this in a marriage.

Please change your mindset concerning how you see and take unecessary things dear to your fragile heart.

Be tough like a man that is ready to marry.

  54. Poster no body can promote you more than your self.you should believe that nobody is finer than you and people will see you that way.if your woman loves you, she will see more of your good side and that will makeup for your looks, marriage is far more than looks I tell you.you both need to do some growing up.

  55. Awwwwwwwwwnnnnn you are such a cutie.ive never been one to look or depend solely on appearance .if your woman is not proud of you with how ever you look so: which we all know you are handsome. Then she's not worth it.and that friend might have been joking , me I joke like that ,I say things backward I tell my Friends how ugly they are and they get really excited cause they know I'm complimenting them. Next time something kike tis happens ask your self will what others say define the image I have for myself. To show the friend was joking she said if you were the brother she will date you.its just play laugh and live life ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜….don't cry again or should I back you, oya come๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†.
