  5. Prayers have been reduced to demands for material things from God.
No one prays for revival, the harvest of souls, the peace of the nations,
    the imbibing of virtues.
    It is now transactional. πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€·‍♀️
Those with this transactional prayer mindset needs to repent.

    1. Blame it on wrong orientation about the Christian faith.

    5. So who said praying for material things is a wrong prayer?

The centurion, the crippled man, blind Bartimaeus, Jabez etc. all prayed for material things.

Don't turn the Bible upside down with your warped idea of Christianity.

    6. Which material blessing did the blind Batimaeus pray for?

The cripple man: which material blessing did he pray about?

The cripple in Acts 3 begged for alms; he did not pray or expect any encounter with God's power through Peter and John.

Jabez lived under a curse brought upon him by events and wrong name given to him by his mother. He asked God to bless him and to enlarge his coast.Jabez became prosperous when his prayers were answered.

Question: what did Jabez have in common with the blind Batimaeus or the cripple man whom you claimed pray for material blessings?

Learn to rightly divide the Word of God. The anonymous raised a thought provoking question that should drive Christans, especially ministers of God, into a sober reflection.

    7. There is no where in the epistle from Romans to Revelation when the apostles of Jesus prayed for material things. But our Christians don turn every prayer to material things, make u tell me how many prayers Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk dey pray. Once Nigerians see 419 business they go jump enter and then start to pray make the thing cash out.. Na wa o

  8. Nigerians love money making ventures that put little strain on their intellect, especially ponzi.

The cause is traceable to dysfunctional education system.

There is no licensed hedge fund manager on earth who can promise and deliver 5% ROI on a monthly basis, let alone 15%.

Is it possible to post 15%+ gains on a monthly basis through financial markets? Yes! But no government will grant license to any individual or company to run an investment scheme or banking with such a prospect. The economy will crash as a result.
