IJEOMAS GIST CORNER

Selling of babies is now a norm in this part of the world, especially the area where i come from. You'll see a young girl struggling to survive, next thing is to get pregnant hoping to sell off the baby once the child is born and use the money to solve her problems.

The way things are now, buyers are even more than the so called sellers. One of my babes mistakenly got pregnant in school, so out of shame stayed in school and refused to come home for fear of what her family will do to her. She told me that even in school, a lot of people were disturbing her while still pregnant to sell her child and use the money to better her life. They promised to take care of her till the baby is born, offering her huge sum of money.

A babe got pregnant for her boyfriend and both of them were jubilating, happy that they're going to have a baby. Curious me and my likes that didn't understand why these guys that are feeding from hand to mouth are going to bring a baby they can't cater for to partake in their suffering stylishly asked why they are going to have a baby when there's no money at the moment. This guy had already made arrangements to sell off the baby and use the money to start up a biz. Nemesis got up with them sha..

They were apprehended at the exchange site. No one messes with my kids.

A young girl once told us how she got tired of life, got pregnant and sold him off for 100k. Used the money to rent a room and before you say jack, the money was gone (serves her right). Now she's crying me a river.

Some of this spiritual homes aka ministries are not helping matters at all. They disguise in the name of ministries, but they are doing false wonders. Some of them hide under the name 'mummy G.O', yet they are housing young pregnant girls and selling off babies. Then when a woman looking for the fruit of the womb goes to them for 'prayers', they sell of easily, deceiving their husbands. In short if you're looking for a miracle in some ministries especially in cities like Port Harcourt, anya shaa gi o (shine your eyes o).

What of some midwives, their own dey their body. Especially those ones that operate or so deliveries in their homes. Those are the ones these girls go to mostly. Once they get pregnant and boyfriend denies them, they run into the waiting arms of these local midwives. They'll take care of them until baby is born and they may end up giving the girls 50k as compensation for carrying the baby for nine months. Some of these homes have been raided by our security agencies but at the end hands will shake, envelop exchanged and that's it.

Someone should pls tell the Nigerian govt to legalize adoption and make it easier for people cos we don't know where these babies are being taken to and what becomes of them.

Adoption is legal in Nigeria, they are going the route of selling because if you give up your child for adoption, they will not give you a kobo for it. You just sign papers and move on!

MY OVARIES OH

A friend had a baby years back and I went to help with preparations for the naming ceremony. I was putting finishing touches to her head gear when I heard the husband tell her that “ this their light skinned baby must not grow dark”. I was shocked but not too shocked because it is a statement I have heard over and over again.

The bleaching wave has evolved, it’s not just adults but children too. A lot of parents wants their children to “glow".

Bleaching cream sellers now claim to make a “safe” range of creams for children, there is no safe bleaching method as far as I am concerned and I feel time will tell. You can do whatever you like with your body but projecting your insecurities on your children is all shades of wrong.

Lots of irreversible damages such as cancer, kidney and liver issues are being done to the kids. You are also affecting their self esteem by letting them know they are not good enough and they should look a certain way before they can be considered as beautiful.

Whether brown or light skinned we are all beautiful, please concentrate on training your kids to be well rounded individuals.

Bleaching of Kids skin is so wrong!

Even the adults bleaching now when they get to old age they will understand the damage done..OMG, its horrible and some are already telling their stories with photos.....

  6. Hello;things are happening now ooo

So the one that just happened today is that this business man was on call with his generator Engineer stating that the gen is bad hence he should come carry it,service and bring it back..

Note; The business man here has a new sales Rep..

So after the call,Biz man left and few mins later;a man came and said he is the Engineer and here to carry the Generator, sales rep allowed him and that was it;since Oga told her that Engineer was coming to take the Gen..

Now few hours later, the real Engineer landed to carry the Gen as Oga instructed but sales Rep said the Engineer(fake one which she later knew then) has already carried it earlier..

Oga returned and in conclusion;someone was obviously listening to his conversation(he speaks loudly while on call) and used that to steal the Big firman Generator Oga is using to power his business...

It's still like a movie but till now Gen is nowhere to be found..

Let's all be careful please;uwa di egwuuuu now

    8. That was how one lady was duped.

One "onye oso afia" took her to a shop to buy goods.
The lady thought he is part of the boys selling for the shop owner and the shop owner thought the guy is the lady's relation (The guy was relating with both parties very well).

Time to pay, the lady brought out 100k to pay, the guy (criminal) collected it and told the shop owner that they are coming that he want to take her to another shop to show her other things they don't have and he (criminal) told the lady to leave her things at that shop that when she come back from where they are going she will carry it.
      They left.
Like some minutes later, the lady came back to carry her goods, the shop owner asked for his money, the lady said she had given it to his boy in his presence before they left, that he can call him and confirm the payment.
The shop owner called his boy, the lady said he is not the one that she gave it to, that she gave it to the one that brought her to his shop.
The man said he has only one boy and that the guy that brought the lady to his shop that he has never seen him before, that he thought the guy(criminal) was the lady's boyfriend/brother.

At this point it was clear that the guy played the buyer and the seller.

The lady cried ehn... At 1st she thought the shop owner wanted to play her.

Someone asked a question yesterday about how to off the alert 'snitching' message if you want to record a call with a redmi phone.. I never knew about that as I have no reason to record a call but had to test it last night by calling my cousin..
      Omo see fuck oh🤣🤣..
You were the one that marketed the phone here oh.. and for the first time in years I left my Samsung and went to get a Redmi note 10 pro that week after reading your review..

      Come and rescue us oh🤔🤔

    11. Hello Dante;im good..

😀😀😁😁First;i didn't market the "Redmi phone" but the original Redmi which I buy directly from the company abroad and sell;so if you bought elsewhere and its giving you any wahala;I cant be of help as i dont know where your dealer got theirs from..

      However;try installing "Auto call recorder"??

It doesnt alert the person and starts automatically once you are on call.

So no need to use that very one your phone came with that alerts the receiver..

      Hope this helps..

Next thing I saw on WhatsApp few days later was list of complain that will fill 20 leaves about how the camera is dull, phone over-heats etc etc..

I then checked previous chat to see that the said person didn't even buy from me and after the whole episode(video call etc) I realised from the graphics alone that it was just not what she thought she bought(Bad Chinko Copy)..

I simply said " Madam, kindly Go to your dealer and complain"..

  12. Nigeria should legalise surrogacy. Nothing wrong in people that can't gave children to get from the ones that cannot take care of them and to even make something out of it. Let it be open and legal. Nigerians will rather try all wrong methods like, steal a baby, buy a baby, commit adultery in the name of trying outside, than go for adoption or surrogacy.

Talking about bleaching babies, one time I was at the supermarket and a lady who looked like she was almost due saw me at the baby section looking through baby skincare products and asked me to recommend good soaps, I did. She then went further to say please which one do you think will make my baby fair, I don't want my baby to be dark. I say ah, me I don't know if there's any baby soap that makes the skin lighter.

Do you know why these things thrive in your communities?
I've been a pastor of a local assembly and if what I am about to type here is wrong,
    please correct me...
"Almost every girl I ever ministered to was initiated into orukoro... at a very young age"
Looks like it is even from the wombs. They do not even see anything wrong with belonging to
    the marine Kingdom of darkness.
So they, ab initio, are indwelt by seducing spirits and sexual cravings that are beyond humans
    to contain.
That is why all the atrocities you write about are happening in your communities.
In Christ, there is deliverance and freedom.

Happy birthday preshy baby,God bless ur new age and keep u under His umbrella.

Bv Ijeoma with the saucy gists..selling babies is now rampant in naija, even people in the abroad aren't left out..an uncle of mine that stays in the abroad with his wife but they're yet to conceive, his sisters here arrange with a midwife to buy a baby for them. The midwife got an undergraduate who fell preggy and bf abandoned her,she couldn't go home cos of shame, they made arrangements for accommodation and every every till she put to bed. They settled her and took the baby. Now baby is in the abroad.

My ovaries poster u are so right abt the bleaching stuff on kids..I saw one woman with 2 beautiful little girls,if u see the way sunburn drew map on their faces eeh.One other woman who couldn't bear it,walked up to her and said "madam pls stop using whatever u are using on these kids it's damaging their skin". U need to see the kind eyes wey this woman rolled and asked to mind her business.I quickly Waka go front. some mothers no dey try at all.

Bv Bianco God bless u for this..one day be one day.

  27. cute girl. happy birthday Precious. This baby selling business is fuelled by so many things. poverty, parents disowning pregnant daughters, very difficult adoption processes, society's judgmental attitude to women ttc etc...very common in the East. As for parents bleaching their children's skin, they suffer from low self esteem. Some mothers who have bleached do it so people wont say their kids are dark, and they believe lighter and chubby babies look more ajebutterish. very annoying development I tell you..

A friend called to ask how far, i explained to her that I was tired of inspecting bad cars, wasting money on tfare and the mechanic that helps me do the inspection. The driver of the vehicle overheard and told me he's going to refer me to a car dealer and church member that is like a brother to him, told me so many good things about him that he's honest and can help me get the best car for cheap etc etc. Long story short, that was how I was duped of 1.2M.

    Happy birthday baby girl

Selling of babies to better ur life is barbaric, it's the long process involved in adoption is making evil thrive. Every sector in Nigeria needs rehabilitation.

Stella funny u, I saw the comma 🤣🤣🤣

    ReplyDelete
  31. Stella adoption is very difficult in Nigeria and very expensive too. A lot of politics in it. People sell off their babies not just because of the money but because it's easier and relatively safer than abortion or dumping the child to die. This is in no way stating that it's right though.
Secondly, our mentality is also our problem. Outside the country, they're ngo's whose job is to locate underage pregnant girls and link them up with women looking for children as a form of surrogate adoption. Once the child is born, you sign off legal study to the new mother, noterize it and everyone goes their way. Completely legal.
What do you expect from a young unemployed lady who fell pregnant?
Parents, please stop disowning your daughtedaughters when this happens.
Daughters if you can't stand the shame of unwanted pregnancy then close your legs shut or use protection.
Abobby, if you're not ready to become a father and bear the responsibility of fatherhood then stop deceiving that young lady.
Buyers what happens when that child gets to know the truth? What you're doing is slavery.
Women looking for the fruit of the womb by all means, if you don't wish for adoption then opt for surrogacy with adult girls who are willing. It's completely legal. Get your lawyer to draft all the agreement and have it notarized.
