Sultan Of Sokoto Confirms End Of Ramadan Fasting And Declares Friday Eid-el-Fitr In Nigeria

On Thursday April, 20, 2023 the Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, confirmed the end of the Ramadan fasting with the sighting of the moon.


Abubakar declared Friday April 21, 2023 as the first day of Shawwal 1444AH in Nigeria.

The Sultan felicitated Nigerian Muslims and wished them God’s guidance and blessings, and urged them to continue to pray for peace, progress and the development of Nigeria...
