  3. OMG!
Inside GRA again? No where is safe. She should have quickly handed them the phone instead of struggling with them, your life first.
May her soul rest in peace. This is very painful to read.

    1. Barnawa GRA can be so quite that you can walk for 30mins without meeting a soul.
I'm sure she was attcked by those wicked okada guys that go about with poisonous knives to snatch phones and handbags. Reasons I put my phone inside my bra if I'm going out in the night.
May her soul rest in peace. This is so sad,I feel for her parents.

  10. This is sad, may her soul rest in peace.

Please house, when we encounter this kind of situation, there's no point struggling with the attacker(s) for our safety purpose, let them take whatever they want, you still have your life. My sister in-law was attacked in broad daylight at second artillery in Port Harcourt, her phone and money were collected but she's alive and now have better phones.

    2. Even if it’s a car. Please voluntarily give them. We lost friends between 1996-99 when Nissan Pathfinder and SUVs were being snatched in Lagos before I left. Until today, I cannot bring myself to buy a Pathfinder because of the memories. Imagine what a 1999 Pathfinder looks like now, they murdered people for nothing! No material possession is worth your life. She may not even have struggled with the Murderers for the phone. They are just wicked.

  18. This has been a regular occurrence in Abj too..
My G was attacked also early this year while going to jog, stabbed and hit by that gwaragwara stick they're always holding, but he fought them and still escaped with his phone.. Thank God the wounds weren't fatal..
The thing about these guys is that they'll attack and stab you first before asking of your phone or belongings, Asin everything about them is violence, an armed robber only threatens you with the arm to steal from you, and uses the arm when you refuse or to escape but that's not the case with these guys, they stab you first before asking for your phone..

When I had surgery, the guy that was smelling seriously beside me that made me collect a private room was also a victim of these guys..
They stabbed him in various parts of his body while dragging his phone with him, he was fighting them.. heard he has been in that surgical ward since last year.. all the wounds are smelling badly..
If they want to ban bike in Abuja, they have my support.. it can be replaced with tricycle, it's hard for criminals to escape or attack in tricycles

    3. You people like to make dumb arguements just cos you want to be against Dante..
How many victims compared to motorcycle?
How fast is it to escape in tricycle?
Can you pull a HIT on tricycle the way you can do drive by on bike and cars?
Attacks on tricycle can mostly only happen when you're a passenger inside or you're cornered on a lonely road, cos escaping after such act won't be easy on tricycles

  19. So sad.
Thank God I wasn't hurt on Sunday night at Odili Road in Port Harcourt when 3 guys brought out knives to stab me inside a tricycle if I do not comply with them. I quickly handed my phone and purse to them before they allowed me out unhurt. I just thank God for His mercies.

Wickedness is everywhere now. May God protect us all.
