Dangote Refinery Reportedly Crashes Price Of Diesel To N1000 Per Litre

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction of the price of diesel from N1200 to N1,000 per litre.

In a statement, the refinery said it supplied diesel at a substantially reduced price of N1,200 per litre three weeks ago, representing over 30 per cent reduction from the previous market price of about N1,600 per litre.
It explained that the significant reduction in the price of diesel is expected to positively affect all the spheres of the economy and reduce the high inflation rate in the country.

  1. Watch in absolute shock as prices of goods still will not drop in response. The excuse they gave was diesel and dollar rates. Now both have dropped massively but prices in the market are lagging.

Government isn't really the problem. We are.

He was selling at N1,200 and it ended at stations at N1,400, this new reduction means the stations will be selling somewhere around N1,200

    2. Why? If it was any other refinery other than a Nigerian owned one you think they would give a crap about a price decrease. They all came and sucked Africa dry, what upliftment did anyone see. Africa need 100 more Dangotes on the continent
