ReplyDeleteE plenty I cant even type all, but they say wisdom is profitable to direct. This man has all the wiring of the house directed to his building, if tenants mess up. Baba go remove your light from his own compound.
ReplyDeleteSo I heard though, he hasn't tried that with us. We just 2 tenants here and we've been managing.
Even pumping of water, him n his wife and children only has access to it. If they're not home and water finishes we are on our own and if there's no light for some couple of days we will donate money and buy fuel in his generator. If we no buy fuel, we will not get water cos! They'd just cut us off automatically from their building. As peaceful as it is i am tired already.
All this caretakers can lie ehn, naso them tell me say landlord na abroad him day, I pack enter me and landlord and family dey greet ourselves every morning .
They are wicked, and they're users.

I can relate honestly, my landlady wants me introduce every guest than comes visiting to her, she wants to turn herself to mother in law I never had but me on other hand loves my space and privacy,my husband allowed in the beginning so I don't really blame her.

ReplyDeleteI live in the same compound with my landlord and I only get to see him when he’s entering or coming out from his car, or when his wives are fighting lol.. that’s a block of flats so no one has time for anyone.
ReplyDeleteAny day I see him or any of his wife they always bend to greet good evening/morning ma. They are always the first to greet me and have never greeted me without adding ma even though I don’t have half of what they have achieved. I have no regret living with them.

ReplyDeleteMy Landlord & Landlady are like parents to me & don't stay in Naija always.... 8 mths out of a yr is spent outside where their children are. So I don't have qualms with them living with tenants 🥰

ReplyDeleteDon't hang clothes here. Don't bring in so many guests. My cousin lives in a compound where trousers is not allowed. So whenever they are going out, they wear wrapper over their trousers and pass. So when we come to visit them, they bring wrapper for us to tie to wear into their house. I found that very bizarre. Funny thing is that they said the landlord is so good.

My own is that they don't pay any bills, dey will share it for the tenants they won't allow you to see how much ohhh

I can never advise anyone to stay in an apartment that has either the landlord/landlady especially landlady staying there and also if they share prepaid meter, it's a no no. They always wants to know what is going on in your life. Wo, so many things jare. I don tire already

I can't live in a compound where Landlord lives.
They want to share all bills with you, even the one you have no business with. Imagine asking us to share land use charge I had to call a lawyer for him. They will argue with you without facts. If you are not informed them go chop you.

DeleteI have the best landlord! His wife's kindness nko?! They're the best. I've never had a bad landlord sha and my family has never been one.
ReplyDeleteI have lived with one who doesn't pay bills, na the tenant dey pay the bills. No tenant have access to the pumping machine and he only pumps water once in a week, so I have to fetch water as they are pumping to last us for a week..so if you are not at home when they are pumping water,you are on your own. So many rules, I actually got tired and we move to a better apartment.
