Wife Tells Court How Her Husband Sold Their Home And Relocated Abroad But Lied He Was In Abuja

Ondo state based Mrs Stella Ayowale, has approached the court after her husband allegedly sold their jointly owned family home and car without her consent and relocating abroad after telling her he was travelling to Abuja for business.

Ayowale, married for three years with no child, was reportedly unaware of her husband’s actions until representatives of the new owner visited their home on May 26, 2025, presenting a sale receipt and demanding she vacate the premises.
According to Mrs Ayowale, her husband, Michael, had informed her he was travelling to Abuja on a business contract, leaving her with N20,000 to cover household expenses for the week.
She only realised the true situation when she was served notice by the buyers.

She also revealed that her husband’s relatives have distanced themselves from her since the sale, raising concerns she might have been deliberately excluded from the decision-making process.

A neighbour has reportedly provided temporary accommodation for Mrs Ayowale while she seeks assistance from her family and legal counsel.

  1. Such a terrible thing do to a human, especially a spouse. Tomorrow when all doesn't go well with that man ,they will begin to suspect one innocent old man in their village. That man has cursed himself already

  3. Why marry this woman and use her for three years and toss her aside with the equivalent of $12 to get her through? I cannot even imagine the mental trauma she is going through. This is why I can’t trust these family members who smile in your face on the wedding day and act like you’re family. Not one person pinched her and give her a heads up of what was going on.

    4. Where in Nigeria are men losing half of anything๐Ÿ™„ Is it the widows and their children who are being chased out of the home when the man dies? Is it the men who routinely throw their wives out of the home for any and all reasons? Is it is the ones who marry second and third wives and bring under the same roof. So please tell me where again in Nigeria where women are getting half… Mtsscchhwww
