ReplyDeleteBut I feel like children of these days handle 'send-off' to school better than we did back in the days.
These days, you see children getting excited to go to school. Telling you how they miss their friends and can't wait to see them again after a long holiday.
The reverse was the case then. The wailing that follows when parents drop their children at school then, would make you question whether there's more than meets the eye.
Maybe vices like bullying or rash punishments from teachers etc.
Most times it's nothing close to that. Just fear of that temporary detachment from their parents.
I like that schools are inculcating fun and enjoyable teaching methods for nursery and creche pupils, hence why they usually look forward to going to school every other day.
