I can honestly say the house we grew up in at the time was definitely a Goodluck house! When our landlords died and his family gave us all quit notice because they wanted to renovate, every single one of us moved into our own homes (yes, they were mostly in funny forms but our houses nonetheless). The only person that pleaded to remain just needed a little bit more time to get their own house up to the standard they could move into and after a few months, they also moved into their own home.

ReplyDeleteI've heard of houses that when people live there, they end up doing so well in life such that they now own their individual properties and vice versa.

Yes. My late parents were both landlords and they always had a waiting list of tenants, especially for flat 7. Every TTC woman gave birth and their husbands always got promoted and built their own houses. To be fair my parents had very strict criteria and were God fearing. They always prayed over each tenant and their kids by name, every single day which made morning devotions very long and tedious. LOL
