FCT Minister Wike Reportedly Says He Cries For Nigerians After Clash With Military Personnel..

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike made a comment that has made him appear like the latest comedian on the block...
He said that he cries for Nigeria because of its high level of sentiments.

He made this statement on Thursday at a media briefing shortly after the FCT Executive Committee meeting.

‎He was speaking about the reaction of Nigerians to the incident between him and a military officer whom he clashed with over access to a land.

‎Reacting, Wike said, “Nobody knows the day he will die or how he will die. I cry for this country because we either tribalize everything that happens or bring religion into what we are doing.
‎“No country, no matter how hard you work, can ever succeed if we continue to allow impunity and lawlessness.”

For a Minister I was embarrassed at his outrage. His response was wrong and bad. He has other officers under him that he could have used.
He used gutter language for a highly placed person like him..

    I was embarrassed for him.

  2. Leave religion or tribalism.
Be a good person. Be kind. Leave good footprints on the sands because of time. That's what we all will be remembered for.

That incident just showed Wike the level of contempt Nigerians have for him. Quite sad!
If I were him, I'll look inwardly and know why people dislike him so much and then further amend his ways accordingly.

    Fully supported
Especially when its elected Governors are also harassed with impunity by their predecessors over anti-people pre-election agreements and brokerage from treasury funds.

  5. You should cry more for yourself. You made your self a god and treat people under you anyhow. We are no longer in the stone age where you ills can be covered up(thank God for technology that made everything life for people to see who you are). If you can behave like that in the face of camera then I pity those under you at work place and your domestic staff.

  6. Don't mind Nigerians,we take everything as a joke..
I don't understand what military officers are doing on a site instead of Barack or saving the Nation..
So as a Governor of a state,an officer don't take authority from you but from his OGA..Na turn by turn,e go reach everybody..

    1. You are writing from a place of Ignorance! With all due respect, the military are not subject to governors or politicians. They take command from only the president through their Oga.

Before you keep ranting, pls respect the military and know it now that it is the only thing keeping this country from falling apart.

  8. Wike cry first for yourself. You should be ashamed of yourself truly. One can only imagine the poor quality of your children and mentees at this stage. That young man handles you like he's your superior. You should learn from him and self reflect at this time. Your tantrums and outburst are as unnecessary as they are unbecoming. You have lost yourself in the corridors of power you never truly deserved.

  17. The young officer comported himself better than Wike in that situation. No wonder they say it's not by age.

Old age does not amount to wisdom...

  18. Wike, please amend your ways. An adage says that "The voice of the people is the voice of God". Go and cry for the mercy of God. You too do!!!

  19. Wike, you really fall my hand ...

You made yourself look so little in front of that young officer by behaving like a tout. A whole minister?😭.

The young officer on the other hand comported himself very well.
    He deserves a national commendation.
