INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD.

I started taking ASL ( American Sign Language) classes over a month ago. It has always been a dream of mine to be able to communicate with the non speaking community and work with them and all. 

So I started the class, and I was struggling because I was really spreading myself, thinking I was doing a lot at the same time, but I didn’t want to give up. Also, I had no one to practice with after classes.

Some days ago, I was practising in the kitchen, just by myself in a little corner. I was trying to remember the alphabet and some verbs. You can imagine my shock when my first walks in and starts to sign the Alphabets along with me. He got the first five letters right and some verbs. I was delighted, he said he learnt from watching me taking my online classes.

It didn’t occur to me that I could teach him as I was learning, too. I was waiting to be very good first. So now I have a partner that we practice together. He also tries to teach his siblings, and I am happy.
One baby step at a time our
Mom and son duo is learning and all. Hopefully, very soon, I will be able to communicate in ASL (American Sign Language) perfectly.

Wha of Nigerian sign Language? or am i missing something? what do you need the sign Language for in the long run? Are returning to America? I think i read in one of your writeups that you used to live there? not sure!

NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS
HOUSE HAUNTING PALAVA.

We are currently searching for a house and my husband has been through the length and breadth of town. Agents are blocking chances of letting you get a house at cheaper price so he goes all out to do the searching.

He came back and shared a shocking story.
In one of the street he went, he said he pointed to a particular fancy building and asked if there was space but the person he asked shared a shocking story about the house being haunted.

According to him, the young man who owned the house was rumoured to have used his father for rituals. After his father's demise, he was buried in a lavish funeral ceremony and immediately after that, the young man bought three houses and four cars.
One day, the neighbours noticed they haven't seen him in days and decided to go there. Arriving at the gate, they noticed stench everywhere in the air. On searching the house, they found his dead body in one of the cars with his head rested on the steering
People claimed there has been a strange sound coming from the house and nobody has stepped foot there since then. My husband and I concluded that it is not all houses that you can rent.

Assumptions will not kill Nigerians......It could be his father tied down his progress and the way opened after he died, it could be God blessed him after his father died..It can also be that he suffered cardiac while he was about to drive out.....For the noise coming from the house, dogs and cats and strange animals maybe inside it...The story you told up there was made up by Nigerians...How come they still have neighbours around if the house is haunted?Notoriuos for Jesus your matter eh na wah!

TEACHER LIFE
School fees season is not for the faint-hearted.

The school where I work, teachers don’t just teach—we also remind. We call defaulting parents, send messages, and gently follow up because education, unfortunately, doesn’t run on goodwill alone.
This term, school fees were increased. Some parents paid quietly. Some complained loudly, then paid grudgingly.

Then there is Mr E.
Mr S is a familiar name. A serial defaulter. Every term comes with a new excuse, yet a large part of last term’s fees was still unpaid. Still, he showed up daily—dropping off his children like everything was fine, lying to the me at the gate (teacher on gate duty) that he had an agreement with the HM.

Until one morning, the Head Teacher saw him, trying to drop off his kids again.
She calmly informed him that since fees were outstanding, he would need to take his children home. That was when calm left the scene.

All hell broke loose. Mr. S started screaming about "embarrassment." He actually pointed at his car and yelled, banging the school gate "Do you know how much this Benz cost? It is triple your annual salary!" The HM didn't blink. She just pointed to the gate.
But the "Big Man" drama didn't end there. The next day, he sent a humble text begging the HM to let the kids back in. The excuse? His account was "frozen" because—wait for it—he just received over 100 Million Naira and the bank was "verifying" it.
The HM, gave him 3 days grace. Big mistake.

At the end of the third day, Mr. S sent a voice note to the school accountant, not knowing the HM was standing right there. In the note, he bragged that he "f*ing hates the HM" and claimed she was only embarrassing him because she asked him for "personal money" and he refused to give her! He even promised the accountant a "share of the millions" if she could just hide the debt for one more week.
The way the HM mounted the gate the next morning like a soldier at a border checkpoint! When Mr. E drove up and saw her standing there, he didn't even park. He did a U-turn that almost burnt his tires and vanished.

School fees conversations reveal more than finances. They reveal character, entitlement, and how some people treat educators once money is involved. Teaching may be about children, but schools are also institutions—and respect matters.
Because no matter how expensive your car is, it still doesn’t replace accountability.

THINGS TO DO TO AVOID EMBARRASSMENT AND UNNECESSARY PRESSURE THIS YEAR 2026 

1. Put your children for school wey you fit afford because expensive
schools no guarantee good results. Just ensure Say them dey attend good affordable school

2. Rent house wey your power reach No go stay house wey you go dey
struggle to pay yearly rent  

3. From the day your wife get Belle, You get good 9 months to prepare,
So prepare well, if possible do Osusu you go pack like a week to her due date
so that you no go begin run around dey find Money to borrow.✔

4. From the day you rent house, You suppose know say you go
Pay rent when rent due So plan and save towards your Next rent to avoid disgrace 

5. plan your life well and live within your means, No put your hand for where
Your power no reach, Save more and spend less..

6. E no make sense to dey buy food for your children every morning before them go school because e Dey cheaper to cook so cook for your house..

7. If you no get money for DSTV go for SLTV and upgrade when your income don
upgrade. Afterall na still the same CNN...

8. Eat healthy food and protect your family from mosquitoes to
avoid everyday hospital wahala 

9. No copy your neighbor lifestyle, because Una two pockets no be neighbors✔

10. No follow trends, If your power no reach bone straight, Do Ghana weaving, police no go arrest you.

11. Keep your circle small, keep only friends wey get sense.

12. Above all things, have the fear of God, get integrity, work hard and dey prayerful ...

13. Plan and prepare early because if you fail to plan, you plan to FAIL. 
This na Just my little advice for you this year.
