Nigerian Woman Reportedly Returns N330 Million Mistakenly Credited to Her Account

Aisha Isah Yelwa, a petty trader from Lapai, Niger State, has reportedly returned N330 million that was mistakenly credited to her ****** Bank account.

On December 29, 2025, Aisha noticed an unusual balance of N330,128,103.90 in her account while checking loan-related issues. Shocked by the amount far beyond her modest means as a small scale trader, she tested it with a N1 million transaction In order to be sure it wasn’t a display error and realized it was real money sitting in her account.
The next day, she took the matter to the bank with a lawyer, where staff confirmed it was a glitch and reversed the funds, praising her honesty.

'Well they would have still discovered the error so its good that she returned it!

  11. Yes she did the right thing. Stella they would have still discovered it but some people would have used a bit to solve some of their financial issues before reporting then the bank will be hounding them to refund and at the the end of the day , a lawyer will be involved and a payment plan put in place etc so she should be commended .
