Actor Uche Ogbodo Flaunts New Body And Says Motherhood Shouldn’t Cost Women Their Identity

Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has sent a message to mothers, urging them not to abandon themselves in the name of motherhood.
In a video shared on Instagram, she flaunted her body and told women to “fvck them kids” and invest in themselves because they deserve to look good.

She explained that many women lose themselves after childbirth, pouring endlessly into their children and husbands until their bodies change, their confidence fades, their minds grow heavy, and depression begins to whisper lies that they are no longer beautiful or enough.

Uche stressed that motherhood should never cost a woman her identity, mental health, or worth, and noted that exhaustion, stress, body shaming, and emotional distance can even damage relationships, and cause the man they sacrificed everything for to walk away.

She reminded mothers that they are still women and still deserving of care, healing, softness, and self‑investment because when a woman is whole, she shines not just for others but for herself.

  4. Uche oh, what you said is true. But I wonder, so the reason you did all that surgery is so you can be wearing spandex leggings up and down? These clothes honestly do not look good and especially not for someone of your age and station in life… every nook and cranny of your body is on full display in the daytime, Ahnahn!!!

I have noticed that once a lot of ‘razz’ women have body surgery, all they can wear is flimsy polyester spandex clothes and leggings that make them look like women of the night. Everything they now wear has to be skin tight. What’s the use of the ‘nice’ body when you cannot dress it appropriately?

  7. I keep asking myself what I will tell God if I opt for a cosmetic surgery and I pass away during the surgery, like what will my excuse be? That I hate the body he gave me that bad? I know it's a far stretch and morbid even but mehnn, it's a heavy fear of mine.
How will I feel knowing that I deprived my kids the priviledge of growing up with their mum just because I chose vanity ehnn.
No thanks Uche, I'll do the one I can do in the gym and feed healthy and call it a day, a little stomach fat has never killed anyone.
