''This February we celebrated 70 years of the woman who gave me life and shaped the woman I am today.
Mummy at 70
And yes, the genes are undeniable right?
But what makes her breathtaking is not what you see, it’s who she is.
I have never met a woman more selfless. More principled. More quietly powerful.
My mother is not just a mother to her children. She becomes a mother to anyone who encounters her heart. I sometimes don’t even realise how extraordinary she is until I hear other people speak about how she’s inspired them through her kindness, her honesty, her generosity, her humility, her hospitality, her strength.

She’ll tell you the truth even when it’s uncomfortable. She’ll stand for what is right even when it costs her.
I watched her serve as Medical Director of Nigeria’s Ministry of Defence with one prayer that she would complete her tenure without a single stain of corruption or mismanagement. And she did. With grace. With integrity. With the fear of God. This is who she is.
An exceptional wife. The first of 7 siblings and a true leader. The most devoted grandmother. A loyal friend. A Proverbs 31 woman.
She can effortlessly tailor the most beautiful garments, then step into the kitchen and create magic, all while giving the best life advice.
Truly our real life superwoman.
Mummy, we are the luckiest family alive to call you ours.
And I pray the Good Lord grants you many more years in great health, deep joy, peace that surpasses understanding, and continued prosperity.
