Friday Night Amebo Post

 Lets gist!

  1. I returned home early yesterday evening and went straight to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Around 10pm, while I was in bed browsing online, I heard a frantic knock at my door. It was my neighbour calling my name.

He explained, in a panic, that his girlfriend had arrived unexpectedly at the gate, yet he already had a lady with him for the night.

He pleaded with me to help and quickly brought the lady to my apartment before going to let his girlfriend in. Our building’s gate is always locked, and visitors can’t enter unless a tenant opens it. The lady stayed in my house for the night and left the next morning. She didn't mind when I offered her something to eat. We gisted for a bit before we slept.

My neighbour and his girlfriend were still indoors when she left. He briefly came over to give her transport money.

That’s how I ended up helping both my neighbour and an unsuspecting lady avoid a messy situation last night.

Continue offering such help until you put yourself inside Kiri kiri maximum prison with hard labour.
You think is only waybill that can get someone killed?
Wait until someone dies in your house and a hook up stranger for that matter.

  2. No be this amebo I been want do today but due to what happened recently I decided to...

I've always loved singing. So at age 13 my grandma enrolled me in a choir where her friend was the cantor.

I took it seriously and never liked missing rehearsals.

One day I went to school and it rained heavily. Time don go and I nor want miss rehearsal. So I went straight to choir practice from school, wearing my uniform, a skirt and blouse. Though I branched one corner, took off the blouse and was left in my skirt and multi strapped inner vest. I now use my blouse to do scarf.

As I reach church, na so our cantor grabbed me and dragged me to the front of everybody. She now use me do ezigbo example. She said a lot and ended with "next time you won't dress like a MAD person". Then she escorted me to the exist and pushed me hard on the back of my head which I staggered. I ran home in tears, and never went to choir again. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Because shame = ๐Ÿฅป๐Ÿ‘œ๐Ÿ‘

I didn't tell anyone about it even though my family kept asking why I no dey go sing again. I gave them plenty flimsy excuses untill they got tired.

A few months later a rumor spread that our cantor had gone mad, running around in dirty clothes picking up rubbish.

People of God, I'm not capping at all. ๐Ÿคฅ

It was a very serious case. Her husband later sold their house and they moved to another area.

As a teen, I couldn't make sense of it, but ehn, I can never forget this matter.

    ⏰๐Ÿชฐ๐Ÿ•ฐ️๐Ÿชฐ⏰✈️

During the COVID-19 lockdown, a tech friend sent me a link to win cash, which the registration required an MTN line but I use Airtel. So I reached out to my other friend who used MTN. She and her family traveled to the village then. I gave her the full scoop, and told her the only thing she needed to do was send me the code that would be sent to her MTN number. Na so Mama begin vex o. Talking about scams, that she doesn't want anybody to use style and tiff money from her I can'T balance. That her SIM card is tied to all her documents, and tech people are Hush๐Ÿ•ying the most lately. She now ended it with "SIM is just 100 naira go buy your own", then hung up.

Only God knows the amount of love I've shown this girl.

When her business WhatsApp account was hack3d, it was my second Airtel SIM number she used to create another. Ever since I started using phone, MTN SIMs have always been the most expensive. Plus even if I wanted to buy one, shebi shops were not open.

I called again but she didn't pick up na so I burst cry, on top another person sim card. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I cried to bed that night.

Laslas a total stranger helped me with their MTN line and I successfully did the registration. ๐Ÿ’ฐ

Some weeks later I received a call from this my friend's elder sister, that thieves invaded their house in the village and of all the phones that were on the table, it was my friend's new phone they made away with. Ah ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿป‍♀️.

It's been years but she hasn't been able to retrieve that particular sim card because she bought it as an already registered SIM, with a different NIN.

We're cool now. She playfully uses the W๐Ÿงน word on me sometimes

Not just these two incidents, so many other similar incidents.

The one that happened recently offed me completely, and I'm not happy about this whole thing.

Ever since I noticed this, I try as much as possible to be cool with everyone, even when people hurt me, I still make peace with them. I try really hard to hold back my tears no matter how hurt I am.

Is it that I am a bad luck person?

I've been praying to God since to roll this stone away because it's not funny ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

You can't.ne. Bad luck. Rather a pure soul. What I learnt from this story is to always leave vengeance to God.

On your part,, always say you have forgiven the person

  6. We drove home from Uk back to Zurich today! 12 hours drive to and fro and God knows, I never knew long car journeys can be this nice!

We will probably drive to most places around Europe now (ok, we’ve been doing that for a while now).

I think it’s a lot easier because my kids travel so well! Like, they don’t complain about tiredness or anything like that!

As long as you have their food, toys and tablets, they are good to go!

Anyways sha, home sweet home! I have missed my bed and the things we do on it ๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. It's 15 hours being that the speed limit will consider their well-being.
Btw, admit you are short of money which made your family do the long trip.
In Lagos Nigeria,no average family puts kids in the car for 14 hours to Uyo in Akwa Ibom State, imagine how tired and frustrated they'll get by the time you guys arrive.

    2. The reason you enjoy long trips is cos of the Good roads, if you travel from Makurdi to kogi and experience Naka road the body that will pain you for days is unimaginable, an 8 hours journey

      Thank God for safe trip

    3. Well maybe because it's abroad...me I hat..e road journeys.
If it's more than 2 to 4 hours, count me out.
Especially on a bad roads that the car will be "bouncing you up and down, don't and back and h.tting you against the sides of thecar๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ˜‚
Then I will now do 12 hours on the road?

I'm not sure I will want to do that in Any part of the world willingly even with good roads.

Good thing is, your kids love it. So it makes it worth it for you all

    6. Anon, I just dey laugh u, the werey said we are short of money and no, it’s a 12 hour journey, excluding flights (including the time you’d spend on the ferry).

We are talking about road trip on good roads, this Efulefu is comparing it with travelling from Lagos to Akwa Ibom but I don’t blame you sha, that’s all you know!

This nicompoop thinks my husband is an average earner in Switzerland! Pls respect yourself and put some respect to his status abeg! (Stella, you don stop testimony post, e get two wey I pend since). Please don’t get me upset this night! Werey thinks we can’t afford to fly to the Uk if we want! You will tell me the difference in price that u will think it’s cos we can’t afford it! Abi asinu leleyi!

Emporium, I used to hate road journey oh until we travelled from Zurich to Paris (to Disneyland), our first long road trip (about 8 hours and it was so smooth and sweet).

Dimplez, no arguments for me oh, u are right! No one loves to travel long distance on bad road! But when u have good car and good road, it’s really not bad! No wonder oyibos dey do am all the time.

Another of my customer came to buy fabrics and she was asking me price to bead for her. I charged her but she didn't bargain because it's lesser than what market people will collect.

  9. I took a bus to town recently . The bus driver stopped half way to pick a passenger and while the passenger was getting in, a mother duck and her ducklings came near to the road. The bus driver and the new passenger started shouting that the ducks shouldn't enter the road, because it is a taboo for a driver to kill ducks, and if anyone mistakenly kills one, that the person must drop money on the dead duck. They also said, ducks must be allowed to cross the road before any car can move, even if it's a president, that you must not try to stop or hurry they while crossing.

  10. Met my boyfriend in December, from the moment we met he said he wants to marry me. We've been dating with that goal in mind.
He loves me, the sex is good, he is a provider and a protector and we communicate so well, I've never had peace with the opposite gender like I have with this guy(my baby)
My parents know about him, he speaks to my mum frequently and we plan to go to the east soon so I can meet his people.
I have an issue bothering me, the issue is he wants me to get pregnant soon since our parents are in the know now, when he brought it up I wasn't cool with it atall but I am now considering it but I am worried things will change the moment I take in.
    I am 31 while he is 34
