    1. A sincer question please; do we just say "oh they are beautiful " and mean it or we just feel we have to say so in other not to offend God?
The rate of discrimination against us is bad enough to have driven some of us to suicide.
      Let me keep my peace.

    2. We say they're very beautiful because they really are, just like a darker person is also beautiful. They were made in the image and likeness of the Almighty God so they can't be anything less than beautiful.

Your question sometimes de tire me.

    2. Yes it does, sun exposure predisposes them more to skin cancer. Their skin is already predisposed, sunlight puts them at more risk

  7. Nice but i think They need to carry this campaign to Democratic Republic of Congo where they use them for Money Ritual not Nigeria where they are loved. We don't discriminate against them here, we think they are beautiful.

  9. Honestly albinos are very special human beings, I mean special because they are truly high maintenance.
I know this because my maternal side have one and Stella OMG, she's sooooo beautiful with a big blue eyes, her skin, chimooooooo, just like butter. Her body cream is usually gotten from abroad.
Her name is Adaugo and she's truly an Ugo.

But if you see the ones that is not well taken care of, ooh dear, it is not a pleasant sight.

So No, it is not a curse at all.

    3. I have seen discrimination in albinos oh..! you know I always say we enlightened ones are like 3 percent and because we hang around with each other we believe Nigeria is an enlightened nation. What a big fat lie!! go and have a talk with some of your drivers, suya man, you vulcaniser you will be shocked about some of the ideologies they have. you will be so shocked. you can find sexism, racism, child abuse, domestic violence all in one day. So I applaud this. create the awareness because Nigeria still has a long way to go.

  11. I used to have this beautiful course mate in the university. She was an albino and had smooth clear skin. Was super intelligent too but I was very angry about the fact that she had a complex. She never wanted to go anywhere alone and never spoke when unfamiliar faces where around. This is someone who was normally a mischievous chatter box. We tried over and over again to speak her out of it but the talks were never any good. Meanwhile there was this other over confident albino hot chic who topped her class and had a relationship with some guy. The guy ended up breaking up with her because he couldn't take the frequent jabs from his brother about his girlfriend. Silly boy.

  13. Growing up in secondary school, people called me escapee, oyibo, few called me “Afin” and I noticed they were mostly dark people that call me afin, though am not an albino but very fair sha.

Some one called me “ unfortunate European” I think a teacher or a senior, can’t really remember who.
    Albinos are humans too.

    1. Story of my life. People still call me albino or afin. Some even argue that I'm an albino. Sometimes I wonder if they're blind not to see that I'm not an albino. I used to fight them and cry when I was a child but now, I ignore them because I now know that there's nothing wrong with being an albino.

  14. That was how one stupid boy that was high on shit went to a club and got a number from a babe he met at the club,in the morning. .omo see my friend proudly telling us he met an halfcast and this babe is the most beautiful babe he has ever met and the babe he just met has accepted to date him..in my head I was like..just like that??to cut story short,he called the babe and omo. ..the have voice is celion dions own,I was getting jealous and plotting how to snatch her,I convince him I could drop him off to his date since I had a car...My plot,to entice her😁,the babe keep changing time for night to come,we had all the patient..as in oyinbo..time was 8pm,we met her in Mr bigg, she sat in a corner with deemed light, she was very beautiful to behold. ..we went to order for dinner and then I saw she was actually an obobo...that one with so many spot and her teeth were so brownish. ..My friend shouted ..chineke!!!and I quickly stepped in to avoid embarrassment, he couldn't take it,he left and I was with this babe not knowing what to do.I hosted with her and found out the dad owned a very good company, I won't lie..I wasn't interested in her but hoping I will get a job from her dad.
We kept communicating for months and my friend usually tease me,I didn't care,I told her my joblessness and she wanted a date in return...I couldn't stand her smell..sorry but she smells, even with all their money,I couldn't fake the love...I eventually gave up...but I heard she is now in England. And that my friend had an accident and they amputated his right leg,no wife...no girl is willinging to date him, whenever I stop by to give him suya..he will be complaining about how unfair life is...inside me I be like...life was unfair for the obobo you refuse to date and even walked out on her,the trauma the babe went through. ..anyway my guy has been transfer to his village because nobody to care for him...and me myself and I married to a very lazy woman...

  16. My own question is how are they really different from oyibos physically. I know about thier metabolic problem, but physically to me they look like some very red oyinbos.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Genetically they are black, they are just missing the gene that creates the melanin. Oyinbos are not genetically black, and they have some melanin, just not to the extent that a black person does.

      Delete
    2. I used to say that before. but let me explain. oyimbos are called white but their skin is such a way that you can see the red underneath like an undertone. sometimes their face will even be so red they look more red than white. when you look at their palm its white with red undertone. but albinos are just white with morew like a yellow undertone if they should open their palm, their hand is white with a yellow undertone not red.

this is also how you can differentiate a Nigerian that is fair from the western part eg ibo from a person that is fair from a European mix. if you look at the skin closely the person with an oyibo mix will have a red undertone, whilke the person without a mix will have a yellow undertone.

but for albinos they also have African features, their hair is kinky not straight, their lips are big and full, their nose is not pointed and they have beiger bum. all those are African features and once you see them you will know.
