Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5.

    1. So yesterday when my husband and I were driving home;I was trying to tell him that I didn't like what he did some hours ago in front of a friend. Instead of him to apologize,he raised the volume of the music. You know that kind of fool keep talking to your self attitude.
Then I tried turning down the volume,he increased it. So I placed my finger on the lower volume key. While I was looking at him to let him know he is damn wrong;the next thing I heard on my hand was..."tawai"
I was so surprised that my darling husband could hit my hand in such a manner. What! This is how domestic violence starts. Na so my own madness wey I don cage all these while was let loose. I began to slap him on his body left and right...tuwai,tuwai,tuwai... and screaming..."don't ever hit me again,I don't enjoy it".
I'm sure he didn't expect it from me. I let him know that I can defend my self with what ever and if he is not careful, next time I might get him arrested.
He later apologized. I have to stop that shit now before it gets out of hand.

    2. And all these madness happened while he was driving ba?... Class for yourself ma'am.

  4. Anon of IHN outburst to Stella, I remember when I started sending advert to Stella, it took 3 whole weeks of back and forth for my advert to be approved. She will respond with a phrase and I will be thinking about the meaning of what she meant. I will try again and resend, she will reply with another phrase. lol. Eventually, I started understanding what she meant and whenever I send, I will ask her if it was ok. Other times, she wouldn't respond and I will keep resending. Then, somedays, I get lucky and she post straightaway.
And i have realised over time, it is mostly to save you from the bashing of bvs or from them badmouthing your product. Thereby, resulting in no sale.
You need to understand that the blog is her brand. She must protect it and ensure it maintains it's international standard. Her standard is what works here not yours. What and how she sees is how things roll here not from your point of view.

Also, she doesn't owe you Jack. She can decide to extend her goodness to you or not, it's not your right or privilege. It's hers to give as she deems fit.
You talked about her having her favourite BVs, who doesn't have. In one of the BEP she asked our favourite and most of us mentioned... we tend to love this people more than others and if we want to help, we consider them first (This happens daily in our circles/lives and not just this blog). So, what is wrong if she has her favourites and favours them? Doesn't she have a right to, just like we all?

Lastly, Stella still rejects my adverts till date. The recent was my advert for Tuesday and I had to re-do. It has never crossed my mind to be angry. For what exactly? Is she my mother or relation? Even at that, does she owe me? I realised the huge favour she is doing me and till date, I pray, i still fidget when sending in stuff, so she will not get tired of me.

Thanks Stella, for all you do for us, God bless you.

P.S. Pls note that I am not among her favourite bvs. She is neutral with adverts.

  5. I need an answer to this question .Please, don't accuse or abuse me,thanks.
I observed that most first borns are usually not successful like their younger siblings .Like if the first born is a female, the younger ones get married before them and also have enough money than their first born.

In other words, most younger siblings usually make it in life in some aspects that the first born, why?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Not in my family though, our first born is always the pace setter of everything; Academics, job, marriage, kids et al.

    2. Wrong observation.
Most people's problem is wrong mindset and believing the lies of the devil through various medium.
Change your mindset and your life will change.

      Delete
    3. Your theory is easily debunked. Science has proven that most first borns are often the most successful e.g Beyonce and Solange

    6. It happens sometimes tho. I think it could depend on a number of reasons as regards the parties concerned

      Delete
    7. I heard something about the curse of the firstborn or so, and if you don't pray specially about it it happens, I think it started from the curse of Reubens, at a point it was going to happen that way in my house, my mum heard about it when we were young and prayed, she even sowed a seed in a church she bought chairs that was all we did, my big sis is doing well, our first son is too, everyone is moving their own pace sha. And yes! I've seen so many younger ones do not better than the first born. It is well with us.

      Delete
    8. Not what you think. Maybe in the families you have seen but don't conclude that it happens in most families

    14. Not in my home. Our first sets the pace, we follow

      Delete
    15. The issue here is thinking that because you're a firstborn, you have to be more prosperous or you have to set the pace first or trail the blaze for others to follow. Forgetting that birth order and destiny differs.

I don't want to be misconstrued but what I vigorously believe is being the last born doesn't obligatorily designate that someone will have it last in life and being the first isn't an assurance either. Lots of factors beyond our control additionally come into play, so annexing excessive paramountcy to it is hysterical .

Irrespective of your birth order, kindly have it in mind that, there is not a fine-tuned pattern of how things should be or follow.

So, please if you are a firstborn, don't put undue pressure on yourself simply because you got on planet earth first. As long as everyone is prosperous at the end of the day it's fine, genuinely.

    17. First offspring carries a huge Blessing, I know for sure because I'm one. I stand out among my peers in a good way. I set the pace any where I find my self, so speak for your self. Before I forget when last did you look at your self in the mirror and speak blessings, favour and protection into your life, that reflection in that mirror is you, so speak the word. I believe I'm born with favour.

      Delete
    3. Coffee contains properties that firm up the skin. That is why it is recommended as a scrub for cellulite. You can just mix the coffee with honey. Cellulite is not stretch marks.

      Delete
    4. First of all, cellulite is the dimple-like or over protruded effect you get on parts of your body mostly the laps. It occurs due to the over accumulation of fatty tissue. The caffeine in coffee has been proven to treat cellulite. It does this by tightening the muscles on the affected areas and eliminating retained water present I? The tissues around. Coffee generally is used to maintain a healthy skin.
To make a coffee scrub, you can combine coffee, honey, olive oil... You can also use it directly on your skin

  8. Romans 8:17.
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; If so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

There's a level of suffering or pain (price) that always has to come before the outburst of glory. According to the scripture above there's an "if" which suggests a choice. That will imply that you either choose to have this pain for God's glory or you neglect it and avoid being glorified.

This pain is what one decides to do when the "world" throws its best at you because the world will hate you (John 15:18-19).
Someone has to stay holy or pray or fast or give, etc as a price or the pain he or she has to go through.
What sacrifice(s) are you willing to pay so to achieve the glory?

Good morning all. Have a fun-filled day.

Body weight and height goes hand in hand.

If you're 5.10 and you're weighing 60, that means you are quite slim but, if you are 5.5–5.8, weighing 60kg is good enough for a masculine body.

If your wife is 5.5-5.8 and she weighs 55kg, that is also very good for her.

Don't forget man poweris always needed from time to time.

I am 5.8 (1.73) and I weigh between 58-60kg, and I've got muscles and with lots of stamina too and I am a woman.

  12. Give your heart to God

Your heart is not empty and dull because you are single without a partner or spouse, Your heart is not weak because you cry easily. In fact, your heart is not a heart when it is only used to circulate blood throughout your body.
In all honesty, your heart is empty when the Almighty is far and not your priority. When tears are shed only for people and not for God. When your heart is connected to objects and not to His worship. When anger is present and not love. When guidance is neglected for worldly gains. When guidance is replaced with corruption. When money changes your values.
Your heart is a heart when you hear the Almighty's call, you answer it, and you extend the call to others whom are not present. When you feel compassion and sadness for the hardships of others. When you prostrate to the Almighty out of fear and love. When sins are given to the All-Merciful and you repent with a sincere repentance.
Your heart is a heart when logic is ignored because a sound heart defines righteousness, whereas a corrupt heart is controlled by your logic. Only through a sound heart will you find peace, and only through Allah will your heart be sound. Give your heart to the One who fashioned and created you. That's only when your heart would find true peace, joy, tranquility and contentment.

Visit any local woman selling herbs, ask for "sulphur ". It is a very yellow hard substance ( yellow in colour). Don't allow them to cajole you to buy the ones that are not very yellow, cos they contain impurities and do not work. If a woman do not have the yellow one, go to another person. Then, buy little Shea butter ( ori).

Grind the sulphur very well into loose particles. Put in a clean container and mix with the shea butter. The content should be in ratio Sulphur 70: Ori 30. Apply the mixture to the affected area mostly in the evening when you are no more stepping out of the house. Lastly, don't wear a cloth that will wipe off the content.
