The conflict escalated after a February 12, 2026 court session at the Lagos High Court (Suit No. LD/1587PMC/2024), where Davido allegedly became verbally aggressive during cross‑examination. After leaving court, he reportedly posted comments online calling Mrs. Enedah “the worst lawyer ever,” which the firm says triggered waves of online abuse, threats, and harassment from fans toward the lawyer and her family.
The pre‑action notice dated February 24, 2026 accuses Davido of fueling a hostile environment that caused reputational damage, emotional distress, and safety risks for Mrs. Enedah. It also notes that the court had instructed Davido to apologize during proceedings, but he did not comply.
The notice outlines four demands he must meet within seven days:
- Stop all direct or indirect comments about the matter.
- Delete or retract the offending social media posts.
- Issue a public apology on his platforms and in at least two national newspapers.
- Pay ₦1 billion in compensation.
If he fails to meet these terms, Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors say they will proceed with a full lawsuit at the High Court of Lagos State.

Are you stupid? Davido is the one who took Sophie to court. How can a man that is busy touring give attention to a female child? Would you trust him enough to leave your only child with him and his wife who hates you? Or around the same crew that insulted and keep insulting you, the mother of the child? Are you people for real? Plus the lawyer has every right to sue Davido after he harassed her publicly causing threats, insults etc. So Shopie should tell the lawyer not to go ahead with the case against Davido? DeleteAll the points you listed are sufficient to win a full custody case for Sophia. But Davido asked for joint custody. In such a case, the terms of joint custody are generally agreed on or decided on by the court subject to constant revision as need arises or circumstances change. Okay, let us concede that the points listed are also enough to win the joint custody case.
So, there was no need to plead the passing of Davido's son as a ground against joint custody and use it in cross-examination. Yes, the pleadings were settled by the Lawyer. But Sophia approved them by signing the Witness Statement on Oath in support of the Pleadings. Therefore, she approved the use of the "Joker" as it was intended to be and as it was used.
The Lawyer always had the professional discretion to advise against the "joker" or leave the case. That she pleaded and used it in cross-examination with the alleged "smirk" means that she supports it.
Truth be told, she went low. There is no official finding of negligence against Davido. Or is there? There are times a client should be guided or told how far he/she can be walked with on a matter. This is one of such matters. Using the passing of a child as a weapon to win custody of another child who has also been with the same father several times without any incident? That was poor. Since after the case was filed Imade has been with Davido. Once, twice, ... Did she report not wanting to be with him. If so, that should have been filed as a further statement in court. And that would have been the case winner as the Courts listen more to children in custody cases.
Sophia and her Lawyer are both together in the matter.
The Lawyer has the full right to sue. And the court would decide on the matter if it were not settled. However, she is likely to lose more if truly social media contents affect her because every time the case is reported on, social media shrapnel would fall around her. Davido's statement about her would be repeated. With time, her family would be dragged in more. How many people would she sue?
All above said, the law firm is headed by a fine pedigree Senior Lawyer. Was this a slip or over zealousness?

All this long epistle shows how daft and delusional you are as long as your fave is involved. Shopie's lawyer did well in bringing the death of his son in court. This is not a family matter anymore, we are talking about court and law and in these cases there is no place for emotion. You fight to win no matter what. Davido's lawyer should have been the one to warn him of the possibility that they would have brought up the death of his son.

Your laziness limits you from reading more to find out whether any court or a Coroner found Davido culpable for the passing of his son. Your unmitigated ignorance "mentalcaps" you from knowing that unless Davido is found culpable for the tragic passing of his son, the sad incident cannot be 100% used to judge his parental competence to have joint custody of his daughter.
I stand my ground based on knowledge that the head of that Law Firm is of fine pedigree. But there are plenty grounds to defend this suit outside of Davido's tragic loss of his son. And another law firm may not have included this ground at all or use it as the sole ground in a case for joint custody. Sophia, on her part is the main instigator of the use of the tragic loss against Davido - she saw the pleadings and signed the witness statement on oath. This is my opinion on this matter, which is now of public interest.
If you are old enough to know anything about libel litigation, you would know that the name of the complaining lawyer would be forever tagged to that day in court even after she collects her claimed N1billion, etc. from this suit if she wins.
Davido may pull down his post if he loses the case but reports of the case till judgment day and after will always repeat what Davido said about her. In fact, it is now that the broadcast of her and all matters concerning her, which she does not want in the Press, will really start. The funny part is that Davido need not do anything more. Journalists and pseudo-journalists will have the court-case-licence to report on her very well. All angles of this story will soon be in the public domain. Watch out. Those reports will stay in public records on the Net and in what comes after it. People who read the reports now and later will be free to judge her and all associated to/with her for good or bad. The only thing that would be said is that she won her case. If she wins.
When this gets to her attention, she may understand better than you - that discernment is vital in serving clients and that not every lawful or right thing or right instruction paid for is expedient.

I don't care what anyone thinks about my thought but it seems Sophia and this lawyer ate working hand in hand. Since Sophia is nit making money through her daughter off David, she and this lawyer have come up with another strategy just to make sure Sophia gets her hands on the Adeleke family money. But she forgets that her daughter is an Adeleke. . Its so sad what greed and maliciousness can cause.
