My 2yrs 2months old son is yet to talk. He has started school and can only say see or mumble something you just said. He sings by mumbling too but you’ll know the song and we sing with him. I hope he doesn’t have speech delay?

Na so doctor say I too dey worry, that some kids are like that, especially boys. That I should go home and encourage him to speak more. So it's encouragement we are doing now.

I know this is common amongst most first born. But he will soon start talking very well soon. Just make sure you engage him in talking exercises or games. Exposure to many people e.g school, children church helps too

In my experience, I advice parents on simple things to do that encourages children to talk…
Get pictures of everyday items he wants you to give him.
Use more vocabulary with him eg. When he wants water, show him a picture of the item and call, then ask other questions like..”would you like to drink some water”?
Also reading; read to him a lot, the more words he hears from you the better he gets.
You can also do blowing your exercises with him, like blowing whistles and other items.
These are a few things you can do.

DeleteYes, you should need a fit to fly. Google the airline you want and get their gestation limit and if they need a fit to fly.I think the airport clinic can do that too. Call your airlines customer care and ask. Meanwhile Some local airlines don’t fly beyond 32 weeks. So be careful what you say. Most of those women you see have doctored doctors reports. 👀

DeleteIf you have sensitive skin, stay away from black soap. Normal skin shouldn't even be using black soap. The pH level of a black soap can distrupt the ph level of the skin, which can cause acne and other skin conditions.

Buy sleep suit 0-3months like 1pack because they outgrow it on time, buy 3-6month like 3packs it's 3 in a pack, you can add to it if baby will be arriving during the raining season, body suits 3-6 months,it's 5 in a pack, lot of socks and hand mitten, caps in different colors, bibs for feeding time, hooded towel a d that other 3-1 towels, flannels, baby oil,soap(Johnson is good but I use Booth). I made coconut oil myself to use at home. Don't buy baby cot they don't sleep inside, I have a swing I use, then hospital will give you their list of Dettol, cordclamp disposable bedpad and others. You can get thrifts too, clean ones they use to have lovely wears for baby... Wash it and use baby comfort to rinse it. Make God help us and see us through.
