ReplyDeleteTrue but I suppose his reason might be for clarity. Incase in the future it is speculated that the bag or envelope or transfer was audio. I think some artists have been accused of such in the past and it didn’t go down well with them.

ReplyDeleteThere’s a reason I can’t fault this. In my village, this is usually practiced during burials. Someone sits in front of the house and collects gifts in food items and cash people bring. Since they are also from Enugu, I won’t be surprised if that is what is happening here. The outrage is because of the amount of cash he gave. When I was busy recording the N200 and N500 they brought during my grandmother’s burial, no one complained that it was being given publicly.

It makes sense to give small amounts like 1k to even 50k in cash in an envelope, but carrying bundles of money this way just screams notice me or I quench.
