NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS
TIMES MUST CHANGED.
I was going to the market that weekend when this man who was coming behind, hastened his footsteps and started to call," sister, hello sister". Trying to 'toast' me.
Hmm... I wear a low cut hairstyle which literally took five years off my actual age and leaves me looking like a secondary school gal. It's an estate, you hardly know anyone, anyone hardly knows you.
When I returned, I told my husband and described what the man looked like and he hurriedly said he knew him.
Well, the man just returned from Dubai, a chronic womaniser, his wife is currently pregnant and he would sleep with anything in a skirt.
The minute I heard his wife is pregnant, I boiled with anger because the story hit close to home.
One of my big Aunts settled with a community deek like this man. No respect, no regard. My Aunt was pregnant and brought in a girl from one of her friends to stay and help around that period.
This man forced himself on her. When the issue escalated and family intervened, he told family that his wife wouldn't let him gain access to her body, hence, the reason he slept with the girl. This woman was 45 years old then, first pregnancy came with difficulty and you still want to gain access to her body? No pity, no mercy, no consideration.
He also didn't take the mess outside but did it to the girl she brought in.
By the time my hubby was done telling the man's gist, I was just shaking my head. That woman didn't know what she was married to, or maybe she does. I can easily imagine what the marriage would seem like with that man's gutter behaviour.

So the Catholic Bishop of Ahiara Diocese was in my village yesterday, for the opening and blessing of our newly built Parish and Fathers house, it was so beautiful to watch yesterday, especially the long procession.
ReplyDeleteSee ehh one man single hand built and completed the church and fathers house, guys you know how big, and magnificent catholic church use to be, one man built it for us, and during his speech, he said one of the disadvantages of a massive projects like this it's maintenance, so he made a promise to maintain the church and Fathers house for 10 good years. 🤸.
With new soundproof Lester, all the outside of the church building its tiles, and those beautiful wooden chairs, was done and transported from Lagos.
For item7, the man gave us 1 fat cow and 5bags of rice, with cooling van filled with different kinds of drinks.
And to show appreciation, my Parish gave him a cow and beautiful art works of him and his wife.
The most interesting thing is that, the man is not from my village but his wife is from my village, so his our in-law.
The particular Land which our church was built, my grandfather gave them the Land free of charge without collecting 1kobo, in the year 1996.
I can comfortably tell you that my village Catholic church it's one of the most beautiful catholic church under Ahiara Diocese Mbaise.
To our Benefactor, Chief Jude Njoku, God Bless You abundantly.

Good afternoon BVS, update on the charger I wrote about yesterday, I went to look for her and some said she had gone out and would come back, while some said she went home, I waited for her till she came back in the night and she said, and I quote "I've not found your charger, you people should stop stressing me" I left.
ReplyDeleteI waited for her this morning till some minutes to 12pm, when I didn't see her, I had to report her to HRM, and she called her immediately in my presence, she said she told me that she would look for the charger at where she kept it, the HRM told her to find the charger as soon as possible and return it to me because I also need it, to cut the long story short, one girl brought the charger to me within 30 minutes and said it's one girl (not the actual person that seized the phone and charger) that said she should give me, let somebody shout hallelujah!
