Today let us do one Cookathon for the week cos i feel like...Cookathon is not a weekly thing, its just for when i am spontaneous....
Let us make one strange meal from beans........If your meal is normal you will not win.
My meal for today is Meatpie made with beans served with Mushrooms and brocolli..
You will get the beans blended and then you add egss, butter and flour until it reaches meatpie consistency.....You put minced meat,made with butter and corrots in the middle and then you bake it...The color will come out as if you added chocolate to the mixture but it is so delicious....
Now its your turn.....
Must be your original thoughts not copy and paste......If you cant think of anything today, then you can post your meal on Friday but i may no longer be Interested by then as per spontaneous mood eeeeeeeeeeeh...lol

NOTORIOUS FOR JESUS
One time a lady contacted me and asked if I could help share her story on my Facebook platform. She is a 33-year-old widow with two children. She met and dated a guy who invited her to his house.
When she arrived, he offered her a drink, and she accepted it.
Not long after, she became unusually drowsy and lost consciousness.
When she woke up, something didn't feel right.
She felt uncomfortable "down there" and immediately questioned him.
He insisted that nothing had happened while she was asleep.
Although she doubted his response, she had no proof to challenge him.
She went home confused and afraid.
About a month later, she discovered she was pregnant. Apparently , he spiked her drink that day and took advantage of her.

Now she is left carrying a pregnancy, She says she doesn't know whether to keep the baby or terminate the pregnancy.
Their conversation turned into a heated argument and they started exchanging words, and she later left.
The next day, she reported the matter to the police and the Officers accompanied her to the house where they had met.

She doesn't listen to her own family more than she listens to you.
Most of the time, she quietly struggles to raise the children without even keeping track of the nonsense you are doing outside.
And after all her loyalty and sacrifice, what does the man do?
He cheats on her, has children outside, and even has the audacity to force her to accept one of his side chicks as a second wife.
As if that were not enough, he hands over his business to a side chick to manage, until the woman completely runs it into the ground and ruins his finances.
And can you believe it? Despite this series of wicked betrayals, the wife still chose to endure and stay in the marriage.
But here is the most painful part: instead of the husband's family cautioning their brother, they openly support his madness!
They constantly point fingers at the wife, telling everyone: "She is a bad woman. She is the problem."
This is exactly why I always say:
Some people never miss a Sunday service, not because they are true believers, but because they are constantly running to church to pray away the consequences of the evil they do to others.
They use the church as a shield to hide their wicked hearts.
This is the exact torment so many loyal married women are going through today.
They are hated by their husbands under the heavy influence of a toxic, manipulative family for reasons no one can explain.
If your wife is loyal, has never cheated, and remains supportive even when you publicly humiliate and betray her without remorse no matter how angry or toxic she might seem to you right now, never say she is the problem.
Do not let your evil sisters and family members join you in hating her.
In reality, those family members hate you more than they hate your wife.
The reason they are desperate to push her out is because she carries a massive grace that is currently protecting your head from ruin.
When you marry a strong, prayerful, and blessed woman, people who do not want your progress will surely fabricate lies about her until you divorce her, giving them the perfect opportunity to enter your life and destroy you completely.
How on earth can a family support their own brother to divorce a loyal wife who never cheated a woman who quietly raised his children while he was busy chasing street girls just so he can marry another woman with other kids?
And yet, you see these same family members sitting in the front rows of the church every Sunday, pretending to be true believers while they are nothing but devils in disguise.

This is how I plan to cook it in my head 😜.
Par boil your beans and set aside, wash your meat.
It could be chicken or goat meat, add to a pot add onion, garlic/ginger,dry pepper, seasoning cubes and allow to boil.
Let it cook till done, add more water and local pepper soup spice.
Let it boil, you add the parboiled beans and constantly watch it.
The target is this, the beans should get done but not too soft, so it doesn't become porridge. And make sure there is enough water as per pepper soup,but not excess water.
Once you notice the beans is done, add fresh pepper and scents leave.
Bring it down, pepper soup beans is ready.😜

ReplyDeleteMy people. Please is it right for a gate man to be living in his apartment at the gate with his children, grown up children for that matter. He was living with a child before, now the daughter has also joined , though she didn't come with her children I don't know if she keeps her children with her husband , or maybe she has issue with her husband. She's been here for almost 3 month and no body in the compound is saying anything about it. I don't feel comfortable with her stay since the day I saw her reading bible at the Tjuction beside our house, I know they're cherubim but that practice is not biblical. I'm thinking of raising the issue with my neighbor and ask tell her father we don't want her here again. This is not their family house but their father's workplace.

1. Pizza Base: Blend white beans smooth with eggs, flour, garlic powder and a pinch of sugar till it’s puff-puff batter thick. Fry it flat like a giant puff-puff/pancake. Golden, fluffy, not brown-bean looking at all.
2. Sauce: Blend roasted red beans + tomatoes + scotch bonnet = deep red “tomato” sauce.
3. Toppings: Sautéed mushrooms, broccoli, shredded chicken, and mozzarella. Bake till bubbly.
Outcome: Looks like pizza. Tastes like pizza. Secretly 70% beans. Sweet-savory-fluffy base with that smoky bean-tomato sauce.

Coconut Beans Soup (Serves 4–6)
ReplyDeleteIngredients
2 cups brown beans or black-eyed beans
400 ml coconut milk (1 can)
200 g smoked fish (deboned and washed)
1 medium onion, chopped
3–4 fresh Scotch bonnet peppers (Ata Rodo), blended or finely chopped
2 tablespoons crayfish (ground)
2 tablespoons palm oil (optional, for a richer Nigerian flavor)
2 seasoning cubes
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt, to taste
2 cups water or fish stock
A handful of scent leaves or chopped basil (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Beans
Wash the beans thoroughly.
Place them in a pot with enough water and cook until soft (about 45–60 minutes, or 20–25 minutes in a pressure cooker).
Drain any excess water if necessary.
Step 2: Prepare the Soup Base
In a separate pot, heat the palm oil over medium heat (optional).
Sauté the chopped onions for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
Add the blended fresh pepper and cook for about 5 minutes.
Stir in the ground crayfish and thyme.
Step 3: Build the Soup
Add the smoked fish and allow it to simmer for 3–5 minutes.
Pour in the fish stock or water.
Add the seasoning cubes and a little salt.
Stir in the coconut milk and let it simmer gently for 5 minutes. Avoid boiling vigorously to keep the coconut milk smooth.
Step 4: Add the Beans
Add the cooked beans to the coconut broth.
Stir gently and simmer for another 10–15 minutes, allowing the beans to absorb the rich coconut flavor.
Step 5: Finish and Serve
Add the scent leaves or basil during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
Serve hot.

My dessert is beans flavored ice cream.
recipes
1milk cup of beans
1 tin of evaporated milk
2 tins of condensed milk
Preparation
Boil the beans in the pressure pot for 15min, then I'll blend with half glass of water and sieve to remove any particles, I'll allow it to cool down, thereafter, I'll add evaporated milk and whip for 3mins, then add the condensed milk and whip again till it is very smooth, I'll pour inside a bowl and cover, then I'll put it inside the freezer for 20minutes, and voila, my dessert is ready.
