Pressure and temptation is one of the tools devil uses to activate his hold on you, but when you resist it, he will flee james 1:12, the devil knows that at the end of his temptation when you prevail, you shall receive a reward, so he will try to fight you.
Establish your heart, to heavenly principles and concepts, when your heart is set on worldliness you might not be too patient with God, you will hunger for a sharp sharp or quick solution.
While you are waiting for answers and results let your heart be set in christ, for he cometh soon. James 5:8
In verse 10 of james 5 you are advised to take as an example the prophets who suffered and was patient too.
Endure, have PATIENCE, keep believing even if you are not seeing results.
Don't let your heart shake, God has promised to do it, he can never fail or go back on his words.

Now, a story.
Two nights ago, a lady tried to LEAD ME UP THE GARDEN PATH.
To lead someone UP the garden path (or to lead someone DOWN the garden path) means to deceive someone by making them believe something that's not true.
The lady chatted ME up on WhatsApp. Screenshots attached down here👇
She said:
"I was just passing through your Facebook page and wanted to know if you are open for paid advertising.
We are looking for Facebook page influencers for our clients’ advertising campaigns.
We look forward to hearing from you."
I responded thus:
"That's good to hear. It sounds interesting!
Go ahead, explain how it works, including the terms & conditions."
Instead of explaining the terms and conditions (T&C), she asked for my preferred mode of receiving payment.
In addition, she asked me to send my email address.
At that point, I SMELT A RAT.
To smell a rat means to begin to suspect that something is wrong in a particular situation, or that someone is trying to deceive you.
So, what did I do next?
I quickly googled, "Which country has the code +92?"
+92 is the country code of Pakistan, where the lady was chatting from.
The first and second Google results showed that scammers use the code +92 to dupe unsuspecting people.
Against this backdrop, I asked the lady to spell out the T&C.
This morning, she asked for my email address again.
So, I've decided to TAKE EVERYTHING the lady said WITH A PINCH OF SALT.
NB: Take something with a PINCH of salt (BrE)
OR
Take something with a GRAIN of salt (AmE)
Meaning: Do not believe everything someone tells you, because it's not likely to be true.
Now, the point is: I don't want to lose a potential client.
I don't also want someone TO PULL A FAST ONE on me.
To pull a fast one means to trick, cheat or deceive someone.
Hey friends and family, please advise ME.🙏
Is this a potential client?
What do you think I should do?

ReplyDeleteMy friend got a new job somewhere. She was asked by the HR to walk through the departments in the company. When she was introducing herself to the staff, she met a plumpy young girl who wore a wedding band, my friend introduced herself saying; "I am Amarachi, and you?"
The young lady in response, said " I am Mrs. Ella" For goodness sake must you attach the title to your name? My friend has 4 kids but you will never know that she is married. When she introduced herself to you, she never included her title even though she wasn't wearing her own wedding ring . You have your own wedding ring on yet you are still worried if the new staff will notice that you need to be respected or not. That respect that she needs so dearly, she will be very surprised when she visits my friends house to see the kind of home she lives in or even more suprised when she comes to work with the car her husband handed over to her. This particular girls marriage is just 2yrs whereas my friend has stayed up to 7yrs in marriage o.
My friend has very flat tummy. Guys even chyk her the most when we were working in thesame place. Once ,they come, they'd prefer her to attend to them until we the staff will tell them, "this one that you guys are so interested in Amarachi like this she is a married woman with kids o" All, am saying is that you big people always feel that the slim ones like us are not supposed to call you by your names. You don't even know if we are older than you. Once you see a slim person, you automatically assume that you deserve to be respected by them .
There is this new lady in my area, anytime I call her by her name she won't answer me. You never see my birth certificate you don already conclude say I be small pikin. #JusticeForTheSlimPeople

Imagination won wound this one😂
Sorry to shock you but It is a True life story, Dante. I have been on this blog for a while to know people call others experiences they can't relate with a lie or imagination. Even yesterday chronicle some people including you thought it was fabricated. Meanwhile a lot of people are going through what that poster wrote.
I understand you can't relate with my story based on who you row with and your personal experiences. The kind of girls and guys you keep around and your circle.
The first guy met him in church. he is divorced now with three kids. He probably felt his body count would make me see him as experienced and desirable but no virgin wants someone who has slept with number of women he can't remember
The last guy I talked about while asking me out was telling me on the spot he would never have sex till marriage. He was a Muslim, the first in his family to convert to Christianity. Met him in church too. A beautiful and godly relationship till now he bears a Muslim Surname but he is a christain. Totally off topic but that was why i smiled yesterday when someone attacked Miriam yesterday for preaching about the Bible. In my mind i was like, what if she has converted and still retains her name.
Anyway, it is high time you know that there is a different life, lifestyle and different kind of men outside your bubbles whose level of chastity is beyond your purview.
A virgin should thrive to marry a godly and chaste man not a hypocrite that has body counts who is running away from ladies with similar body counts. No be witchcraft be that?
Virgins needs to stop telling men they meet they are virgins he doesn't have to know. He should find out after marriage .The ones who care the most about your bodycounts are the hypocrites and womanisers who after sleeping around think they deserve you as a badge of honour. Be guarded.

I should start with what will happen to me when you were the one that came from nowhere to trivalise an experience you know nothing about concerning someone you don't even know.
If e sure for you, the confidence you used to call my experience an imagination use it to answer that question i asked you.

You are the one doubting why should I be the one to answer the question or are you trying to manipulate your way out of the question again like the crafty being that you are?
The topic that created this post was BODYCOUNT. Go back and read what i wrote again and how it led to my post.
I didn't want them not solely because they weren't virgins but because they weren't virgins and still had the guts to state they wanted one like it was their birthright while shamelessly talking about the number of women they had slept with e.g the one who has been having sex since 14.
So Know the difference!
I made the mistake of revealing it beforehand. Seeing their hypocritical ways i made a promise not to reveal that aspect of me to anyone ever again afterwards i met the last guy. If i was not a virgin and i made it clear i only wanted a virgin after so many body counts then the Muslim guy would be put off by by my reasoning too and probably avoided me like i avoided them.
If you can't answer the question and let settle this once and for all then You should be the one to fly away instead.

ReplyDeleteThere is an increase in crimes at this time, pls mind what you say on phone especially in public and also to people. Don't give people around the impression that you are well to do or have people who are well to do.
That was how a my neighbor was quarrelling with another person on the road, he started boasting that he has brothers in military, he has a brother who is a senior officer in DSS and he is in the vice president office, he has another who is a senior officer in the army, another one in abroad, they will join hands and deal with anyone who misbehaves around him.
It was after he was released from kidnappers den that we knew what he did few days to the time he was kidnapped. They paid ransom in millions while he came back with a broken leg.

ReplyDeleteSo my daughter(11yrs) cooked moimoi yesterday without my permission.
ReplyDeleteI asked her to go and soak beans. This girl went ahead and peeled the beans, blended it with all the condiments, package inside the containers (moimoi pouch) and put it on the gas. She came inside to check time and asked me whether it is 40mins that it will take to be ready. I was shocked !
I asked her to list all the things she put in it, she forgot to put oil. Moimoi ended up tasting like what I don't know. No salt, no oil. We trashed everything. I couldn't even beat her as I was very angry, I would just injure her.
Hubby is blaming me for not checking on her when she took long in the kitchen. I'm so pained , I had plans for that moimoi this morning ☹️
