Thank Stella for this platform. I have read all the ttc testimonies and I knew I would share mine one day.
I had a miscarriage March last year (three days before my white wedding). It was my first pregnancy so I didn't know a lot of things. I didn't know I was to go for scan to check that everything has been evacuated. That was how I started bleeding in May. I had to undergo another evacuation. I went through hell.
We decided to start trying again in July. Then I found out I had hormonal imbalance as a result of high prolactin. I had been lactating after the miscarriage but I didn't think much of it.
I started trying different medications all to no avail.
Since Feb I missed my period and did urine, blood and ultrasound tests all negative even as at last Monday. But on Sundayexactly 8 weeks since my last period, I got a positive result. My husband was in such disbelief that when I told him I was pregnant he said "Amen".
I had to tell him that I wasn't praying, God has actually done it. His eyes were so big with surprise and he smiled all through the night. I give all glory to God for giving me a wedding anniversary gift. To him alone be all the praise.
To all trying to conceive mamas, confess God's word everyday. Tell him you trust Him and you know its all working out for your good. Declare that you are a fruitful mama and your husband's quiver is full of children. Then see what God will do. You too will share your testimony before the end of the first half of this year.

ReplyDeleteAs Humans, we tend to worry so much, i am someone who over worries lol. So last September, i had a miscarriage and my heart broke so much, i didn't know i could get over it and hubby had gone back to the abroad, it was heart wrenching but i got over it and vowed never to worry again. December hubby came home and missed my period in January, i know my body, i knew i have taken in and i boldly refused to do a test. I might test and see a negative result, then when i go for an occasion, I'll drink alcohol, i might test and fear will suddenly grip me, so i didn't test and hubby supported me. I called my mum to give her the good news with faith, she told my sisters and we were all happy. Now I'm showing a little and i decided to go and register for antenatal, mind you, i hadn't done any test since January. This past Monday, i went for my 1st scan and saw my baby😍😍😍😍 oh what joy filled my soul, i am now in my 2nd trimester and it was just on Monday i did official check up since January. To all TTC baby dust to you, and please relax, stop stressing your self testing every month that anxiety alone can cause harm, just take it slow, if you are pregnant, you are pregnant. You can visit the blessed Sacrament and have a quiet time with God. May God bless us all in Jesus name Amen
