I've been married for almost a year now and TTC.
Indeed it is not easy to wait, especially after a few months into marriage and people start asking you if you're pregnant, thats when the pressure starts....
At about 7 months into the marriage i asked my husband to accompany me to the hospital so we can get checked hut he refused, he said he didnt want to hear any bad news. He said God has given others He'll give us too but i was still troubled.
I stumbled on the prayers in May this year and i decided to key in, i copied it in a book, prayed and declared. Early July when my period came i cried, it was then i made up my mind not to worry again after all people have waited longer.
I refused to calculate ovulation cos i thought to myself with or without ovulation God can do it and He has done it. i have returned to testify and encourage someone else as reading other people's testimony gave me hope. God is working and He'll perfect it for all those still waiting in Jesus name.

As in eh d pressure nor be here ooh,2 or 3 months after wedding.. When u eat or take a nap at work,come and see questions from colleagues ooh..when u sit why u are supposed to be standing,ull hear questions like; how far na? E don enter,e don score?..chaii..d pressure they put on u is out of dis world.
ReplyDeleteMy advice to anyone trying to conceive,pls stop looking forward to ur ovulation, instead look upward to God,cos I for one got pregnant without getting to my supposed ovulation day,dat ovulation thing put alot of tension,God did it,I don't know he did it,BT He did..
Congrat poster,we will carry babies to full term and deliver like d Hebrew women,and those waiting on him please do not loose faith,hold on and hold out,he is still in d business of performing miracles.
Lord pls do it for my sisterinlaw and all the ladies i am praying for.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations, You are very correct, pressure, I wished I read this this morning before I went to d hospital. Came back from hospital and saw this, I went for test with my hubby so my mind can at least be at rest. Now I will look up to God. God who did it for u will do it for me and all TTC in Jesus name.
